Suppa Time!!!
What are you having for suppa? Myself its a baked tater, grilled squash and 2 sides of steak(Prime grade Angus tenderloin of course). 😃😃😃 1st meal in the wormery!!!

My new toy!!
1st compost tea using my TeaLab Bubble Snake. Its a blend of compost, castings and a few organic ammendments along with some Rootwise microbial innoculants for my corn that is/has tasseled and is putting on ears. 18-20 hr brew and it'll be ready tomorrow morning just before sunrise 😁🌽😁

@Cherene Packard its killing me already cause I wanna feed em. Will be doing a soil drench because they already have small ears of corn on em.

2nd round of heating precompost
First round heated to 38celcius and could see some mild growing now just fed for second time start temp is a cold 13 Celcius hope it will heat up in this cold weather we having . Posting a pic of the first rounds result

Um...?
What are these orange thingies? Some kind of egg? There haven't 'been worms on these - well a couple - but not enough to make all of these, so they aren't cocoons. Mites?

@Rick Redding imma say theyre cocoons. You may have gotten a very good handful of bedding when Scott loaded em up or he very well could've pitched in a handful of breeder bin bedding as a bonus(wouldn't surprise me). This is a pic of 1 handful of prime bedding from Big Ben. I quit counting at 200 and prolly got close to 350 from 1 handful so its very possible you got that many.

Time will tell, but let's hope their cocoons!!! 1,000 or so free worms would be nice 😁🪱😁
