#newearthlive2025 Step 1: Before I grew up in the geographical centre of North America on the prairies in a very seasonal city that has some of the coldest winters on the planet. I lived two lives as a kid. One in the forest near the lakes and rivers, and one in the city. I was always incredibly aware and sensitive of other people and very social at times and living completely in my head other times. A true ambivert. I found music when I would compose my own songs on my aunt’s piano and my grandmother recognized there was something there. I was always fascinated with tape recorders, television and media, and also obsessed with “The Force” from Star Wars. In high school I realized all that I wanted to do was music, but it was always a fight, everyone said it’s impossible to make a life as a musician.... Step 2: Crisis As a teenager I began a decades-long relationship with alcohol that ultimately had to end when I realized drinking had effectively capped my progress towards my goals with my music and career. I eventually replaced drinking with meditation and yoga as a way to deal with my anxiety and get past “matrix” consciousness. I had to get to the bottom of why I was drinking and start healing. Step 3: Chase After a decades of being a guitar instructor, including at a university level, playing in rock bands and performing my original music while touring Canada while also almost dying along the way and ending up in an inabated coma for 10 days waking up the day before 911,, I gave up the road and began performing and composing soothing classical guitar for yoga sessions and studying ways to heal my subconscious mind with music and other techniques. I started studying online businesses all the time, then I created “Guitarfulness”, my own brand, soothing guitar music and education on how to use music for stress relief and healing. I started selling a 5 minute meditation, then my first album, now I have released 40 albums and have created a loyal following that use my albums to make their lives better.
