We can all be drivers of change. We just welcomed a new Flame who has a sewing community. Sewing? How could that be a movement? How could it be magnetic? So the community members invite other members? So other influencers shout out the community? Here’s ONE WAY: Would you say the world need less peace? Or more peace? My opinion is a lil more peace would make a better world. So… “More peace” could be the small change we want to make. (Common goal) Now all we need is the “unusual way” our community does it. (Uncommon way of getting there.) (Remember: Our mojo definition of a community is a group of people with a common goal and an uncommon way of getting there.) Now… If it jives with the community owner (and it may not) why couldn’t sewing be the way they find Peace?) For the right people who like to sew or want to sew… AND… Want more calm, peace and fulfillment in their life… “Finding peace through sewing.” Would likely be MAGNETIC! A community they’d feel drawn to often. A community they’d feel compelled to share. A community which would grow on its own. Now… I find peace through journaling. If I were able to multi-task… This would be a community idea I could get behind. My point is… Peace is the common goal. There are 1001 ways to get there. There are 1,000,001 common goals like “Peace”… So… 1001 x 1,000,001 =1,001,001,001 (a billion possible combos of Magnetic Movements for your community) I’m confident you, my Flame, can find ONE! You don’t have to be the expert. You just need to be a champion for the small change you and your community peeps want to see. The community pitches in. @Jeff Claassen pitched in with a fantastic ebook we can use to share CFM. @Ryan Carruthers shared a new way to do an email auction. @Dennis Becker and 3 dozenish others have brought in others to our community. About 1/3rd of everyone here was invited by other members!

Self Rule for Shitheads? Autonomy is a NEED for me. I was programmed it was wrong and selfish. I was taught it wasn’t possible anyway. Just slap a label called “unsolvable” on the autonomy box forget about solving it and let others rule me. “Now follow MY rules!” Or… “Do what I want!” …almost always followed the discouragement to make my own rules in some fashion. My girlfriends (and others) wanted me to do what THEY wanted if I loved them. School wanted me to do well on tests, do college and trade my life for a wage so THEY would have stats to brag about. The guvmint, banks, car manufacturers and numerous other shittery manufacturers want me deeply in debt bondage to cushion their profits and power. The guvmint also wants me dependent on them for my healthcare, retirement income, safety and security. Just give up my self rule and responsibilty. Don’t worry. We love you. Now let us have your son so we can send him off to war. Fortunately… My soul starved for autonomy so desperately I was miserable. “Like being told food is “bad” for you - now give it to me!” When the torture got unbearable… I just said “Fuck it. I’m doing it my way. How much fucking worse could it be?” If I died a miserable shithead at least it was my own damn fault! Turns out… …for me Autonomy was like vitamin C after suffering with scurvy for decades. Every area of my life healed. But… I don’t run a “business” like I’m “supposed” to… I don’t run my personal finances by the book. I’m not a “good” husband or father by society’s standards. I certainly don’t need some mother fucker to tell me how to be a real man. And the worst of the worst? I’ve watched Breaking Bad four times! I may be a shithead, but I’m a happy shithead!
