I figured out my "lead game" by getting girls phone numbers. I was a young man in the Navy when I got stationed in San Diego as an instructor for the Advanced Electronics School on 32nd Street Naval Base. I'd go with my buddy: "Jeffrey LaFrance" Say his name in your "Grey Poupon" voice. Very aristocratic sounding! He was 6' 2", blonde with blue eyes. Looked like Dolph Lundgren. Next to him, I looked like Danny Devito. Plus, I was a squid with a funny last name... It was like Dolph versus Danny Devito. You'd think Danny wouldn't stand a CHANCE, right? BUT... Here's what would happen... We'd go to the Red Onion on Mission Beach. Jefferey would get 2 or 3 phone numbers. I'd leave with a pocket full of 12 or more. (KIDS: This was the early 90s, we still had to write down phone numbers!) I've never forgotten. I do the same thing online. From email to social to Skool. In a world where group owners have a hard time getting 40 likes. I can get 40 leads and turn them into $10k to $25k cash that day. In tiny communities and with tiny lists. It's not hard. It's simple and WAY easier in fact... There is a missing step that you can't UNSEE once you see it. This one thing changes peeps lead game. In this training, I point out the MISSING STEP! This could help you build momentum if you're starting your community from zero... I was looking back through some older threads, I saw this post by @Evan Webb, who said "How about we add a little tinder to the fires to help them get going by joining each others' groups. That way, as you send people to your group they don't show up to see '1 Member,' but instead see some momentum - a little social proof." And there was a follow-up comment by @Janna Skroch: "Having a list with everyone's group on it would be great. We could hop into the groups that resonate with each of us." I thought, hey, those are great ideas. But as far as I could find, no-one here has made such a list yet. So I've made a simple Google Sheet of communities owned by Flames. Seeing sparks start flying in this movement is so inspiring. Action is being taken and communities are popping up! How about we add a little tinder to the fires to help them get going by joining each others' groups. That way, as you send people to your group they don't show up to see "1 Member," but instead see some momentum - a little social proof. How about we start a list of everyone's communities so we can generate ideas and help each other build some bonfires!
