Day of Mourning - Honoring the land Ancestors!
Hey Mystiks! Whether you are indigenous to the Americas, transplanted by ancestry, or called to live in the States. Today is not just Thanksgiving; it is a reminder of those who have come before us. Those who stood tall in their resilience and those who protect the land's resources even through genocide. ๐ฆ
In yesterday's SDM circle meditation, we envisioned these beautiful land ancestors giving us a golden corn. This was to show our connection to the land, the strength and bounty we get from this beautiful place we call home. ๐ฝ >>>> Watch the recording here #SDM Circle 11.26.25 Before the recording, I was listening to these Native American Healing Chants. In 2019, when I was going through my darkest night of the soul (physically in bed for 2 months), I held tightly to these chants. Every day, I allowed myself to heal in the presence of those who walked before me. Today, I offer these chants to you. May you listen and remember the whispers that bellows through the wind, you are on Native Land, be grateful. ๐ A'ho Mitakuye Oyasion - For all of our relations. Wopila Tanka - Many thanks! Wakan Tanka Tunkashila- Oh Great Mystery/ Spirit - Grandfather! xx, Dancing Light [my sweatlodge name given to me by my late teacher, White Eagle.] p.s. I am still very grateful for all of you in this journey with me! Many blessings!
