Nothing like live music...
Hello everybody, Adolfo here directly from SBK San Francisco! let me know if anybody is here. I have always been in love with live music. I believe there is no such a feeling as dancing with an orchestra live. Here is a production that I did with my orchestra in Zurich 2016. Orchestra "El Chino & La Diferencia"

I’m here all three days and doing the EM bootcamp 😊
Hi everyone! I’m Eric!!
Hi everyone! I’m Eric Mastrángelo, originally from Argentina, and I’m truly honored to be part of the Empire Mambo Mentorship team. Three years ago, right after the pandemic, I came to New York searching for growth and new inspiration. After 17 years dancing and 15 years teaching, this city completely reignited my passion. I arrived here as a student… and now I’m teaching, performing, and living a dream I once only imagined. I want to share some really meaningful pictures with you: A picture with my mother — she was the one who took me to my very first salsa class. My first performance ever at 15 years old with my first salsa teacher (yes… you can laugh at the look lol). My first class at Empire Mambo in NYC — I asked Tatiana to record the turn pattern… she’s my wife today. 🙂 The first time I ever stepped on stage with Adolfo and Tania at an international congress — a day I will never forget Grateful to be here with all of you 🖤

So many memories! Super grateful to be able to train with the amazingly talented teachers at Empire Mambo. Lovely photo with your mom. Excited to have an extra resource to keep levelling up my salsa through this online platform as an addition to the in-person training.
Ladies!
What is something when you are dancing that you don’t like about yourself or feel like you need help?

Body movement and natural arm movement in shines. Especially when learning a footwork sequence in class that I’m less familiar with. Also, I feel that every time I either gain weight or lose weight it’s like I’m learning how to walk again in dance as my centre of gravity changes given the weight gain/loss is never uniform 😅

@Nathalia Raigosa Would love to see a video on this platform of exercises you would recommend we do daily to improve our range of motion, body movement, and fluidity in arm styling.
I Don’t Like How I Look Dancing- My Thoughts
Yesterday a student told me: “I don’t like how I look in the mirror when I do shines.” Honestly… I’ve felt the same. I’ve never watched a video of myself and said, “Wow, perfect.” But I see this as something positive — it keeps me improving, working on my basics, and growing. Here’s one tip that changed everything for me: Dress for the dancer you want to become. When you go to class or social dance, don’t just wear anything comfortable. Choose clothes that match the look, style, and energy you want to express — almost like stepping into a role. When you look the part, you feel the part. And when you feel the part, you dance with more confidence. What do you think? Have you felt this too?

I agree and even small things like doing my hair and makeup change how I dance, how confident I am, and how judgemental I am when looking at myself do shines in the mirror. It’s different when you practice at home without a mirror and can simply focus on how things feel because in the studio there are mirrors everywhere, the teacher looking at you, maybe fellow students looking at you, sometimes the studio’s content team filming snippets of the class for use in marketing, so definitely when you “look the part” you are less rattled by these factors than when you’ve had one of those days where you showed up to class not all that put together. At the end of the day it’s better to show up as you are than not to, but if you can spare the time, it will be worth it to put a bit of effort into your outward appearance.
The Palladium Era
Hello everybody! There are much longer version and documentales, but I won’t ask you to do that right now. However, you can take 13 minutes to watch this. I’m a big fan of this type of videos🥰. Let me know what do you think.
