Payments - Additional Countries Support
I noticed the payments feature isn’t available to Brazil & other large countries. For context, payment processing in Brazil is nuts. They charge 10%+, have really outdated policies for purchases (ex: some companies will call all your customers who buy & if they don’t answer the phone to verify their identity, they will automatically refund them) I think Brazil’s course community is blowing up (see: Hotmart) and this could be a great opportunity for Skool to add Brazil payment support. Would love to know if this is on the roadmap. Best!

@Shubham Borad they’re using Hotmart mostly (although they force you to use their course platform, you can’t self-host on Skool). There’s some other companies they use as well but they’re problematic in the ways I mentioned above so, not a great solution. Skool Payments for Brazil would be awesome.

@Éva Raposa I saw that too 😔
How are you using Skool? (help us help you)
Good communities highlight their members. It's all about the members. That's YOU! We want YOU to share how you're using Skool so others can get ideas and learn. We'll give spot prizes (like Skool merch) to members who share something cool. If you share something people find useful — we'll promote you to our 800k email list, 134k YouTube subs, and put you on our website that gets millions of monthly visits. We created a new category called "How I'm using Skool". Check it out! If you want to share how you're using Skool, create a post in that category with a good title, a short description, and a quick (less than 5m) Loom video sharing your setup/use-case. Help us help you!

I'm using school for my BFF program where I help women just in Brazil (for now) to have their financial freedom by working online, mostly of those women are in a bad position because they have kids, for example, can not leave an abusive relationship because they can support them financially while take care of the kids or even can not spend time with their kids while working crazy hours for such a little amount of money in Brazil. I'm really happy that I can help them! They love the platform where we could create a strong community and empower and support each other, it has been amazing. I wish just that we had a way to have a group chat inside of school, where we could have quick chats + audio in the chat where I could give feedback to them about some tasks.
1 Line of Code = Fixes Mobile “App”
Hey there so as some of you know, since we don’t have a mobile app, you can tell your students to simply “Add to Homescreen” to mimic an app. However - because there’s a line of code missing, when you open the “mobile app” that you just saved your home screen, it still shows the address bar - sort of losing the whole “app experience” and potentially providing a worse user experience w/ the annoying address bar shown. This is because, unlike other sites (like nomadlist) when you add to Home Screen, they have a special code that allows the “app” to play more nicely & hides the address bar. This completes the app feel & quite honestly, with this last piece, can really solve the mobile app need until a native app is complete. Can the devs please considering add the following code I found that hides the address bar once someone has added Skool to homescreen? That way it feels more like an app & provides a better user experience on mobile? See screenshots & reference links: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/44535687/add-website-to-home-screen-without-address-bar This seems like an easy hot-fix. Thanks!

@Sid Sahasrabuddhe what do you think about this quality of life improvement to the “mobile app”?
Alternative to Other Languages
Here's an idea that could be less work for the dev team but still give people what they want (I noticed multiple people asking for Skool in other languages - myself included). What if devs just allowed a lot more of the UI to be editable somewhere in the settings? For example, you could manually change the text to say something else. Change the like button text to say the same thing in a different language , etc.

The setting could be simple like this:
Drip course content by week
Not the first to ask, but it would be awesome if we could drip content in our courses. How ? Just add a little new field in the "Edit set" that allows us to put a number of days for drip (see my screenshot). Thanks for reading ! 😸
