Second time’s a charm!
Hey all, So I finally passed my CISSP today. Second times a charm, right! :) I took it and failed back at the end of October. Luckily, I had the piece of mind. Took it today and it ended at 100!! I couldn’t believe it, I kept checking the paper to make sure I read that right. What a way to end 2024. I think I’ll try CISM in 2025.

Congratulations
Passed CISSP on 30th November
Thank you God and thank you everyone for your support in this Group. Your encouragement, many practice questions here and recordings for specific domains are all worth the time. My advice is when answering questions, think like a security consultants/Architect. What would you advise the business to do if you are in the shoe . Throughout my questions I do not think I used “ the Think like a manager mindset “. I wish everyone preparing all the best

Symmetric and Asymmetric Encryption - Mnemonic
Here is a short "crib" note on encryption. One thing to note is the last row, while not perfect, if you are asked about "S"ymmetric or "A"symmetric encryption. Symmetric RC4, AES, DES, 3DES, and QUAD. <-- Most end in "S" Asymmetric RSA, Diffie-Hellman, ECC, El Gamal, and DSA. <- Some end in "A", if you add the ones with longer names that contain "A" (Diffie-HellmAn, and El GAmAl) Then you will know the others that are Asymmetric I hope this makes sense.
