Two Weeks In!
Hi, everyone! I am a mom x 3, blogger x 3, content creator x (I lost count!), and overall someone who loves learning new things. I am also a night owl who typically goes to bed at 6am instead of waking up at that time. My first two weeks on Skool have gone by fast but that means I must be having fun, right?! My community is still in the "friends and family" stage but I am looking forward to meeting new people, setting the foundation, and building something great....together.

Freemium Model: Community Growth Update
Hey Everyone !!! Here is my My monthly community Update: what’s working (and not working for me) in Grow With Evelyn ... Today we are talking about how I’m running (and growing) my freemium → paid system inside my Skool community, in case it helps anyone else is thinking of using this model. TL;DR 🤣 👉Freemium front door → high-value free workshop → one-off paid upgrade → community activation events → traffic challenge → bundles → future affiliates. 👉Soft launch revenue so far: $2,089 + 4 recent $97 upgrades 👉Everything is pointing in the right direction. 👉 Freemium → One-Off Upsell Model (and why I switched) I experimented with tiers, but after reviewing my LTV strategy (and talking it through with @Evelyn Weiss ), I moved to a freemium model with a single one-off upgrade. My Beta launch for the Cold Case Creator Club brought in $2,089, plus a few more sales afterward. And since moving the upsell inside the community, I’ve had 4 more upgrades at $97. ➡️For my niche and audience, the one-off structure is giving me: ✔ better long-term customer value ✔ lower friction for buyers ✔ no churn issues ✔ a cleaner upsell flow inside Skool 👉 Free Entry System (value heavy by design) Every new member gets: ➡ a DM directing them to the Welcome Post ➡ instructions to introduce themselves ➡ CTA to my free workshop (built with Evelyn’s Scrappy Workshop model) ➡️The workshop includes: The full framework + Workshop A workbook + quick start guide A mini template pack AI prompt pack .... and a CTA to join the main offer 🌟 It gives a win → then offers the deeper system. ➡️The Paid Offer: What’s inside: all my templates all creation systems a custom GPT asynchronous feedback Community only events like implementation weeks and social nights the deeper, structured cold case creation course This is my main offer inside the community (currently $97 Beta — price rising soon). 👉 Community Engagement Events Next month I’m running a free live murder mystery event inside Skool. I’ll use one of my products + an Easter egg hunt + mission style. I’ve hosted this before in a Facebook group last year and it converted extremely well — so it’s my main community activation event moving forward.

Excited to Be Here and Meet You All
Hi, I’m Jocelyn. I’m originally from Canada, and earlier this year I packed up my life (and my courage) and moved to Bali. Big leap, new country, new pace, but it’s slowly becoming home. I’m still finding my rhythm here, one hot day and iced coffee at a time. I run a little corner of Skool called the Empowered Spirit Tribe a space for intuitive, sensitive, spiritually curious women who crave gentleness, grounding, and real connection. It’s less “business” and more “come as you are,” and it’s been growing right alongside me. I’m really looking forward to learning from Evelyn and everyone in this hub, and shaping my own community in a way that feels aligned. And then there’s Loki, my tiny four-legged shadow who came with me. He’s traded Canadian winters for Bali sunshine, spends most of his day supervising the neighbourhood street cats, and has fully settled into his role as my emotional support gremlin. I’m happy to be here and excited to connect with people who value intuition, softness, energy, and depth. Looking forward to getting to know you all x

How to be unshakeable in every situation
How To Be Unshakeable in Every Situation: 5 Life Lesson Quotes Miyamoto Musashi was a legendary Japanese swordsman who remained undefeated in over 60 duels throughout his lifetime. Born in the late 16th century, he transformed from a wandering warrior into one of history’s most profound philosophers on strategy, discipline, and mental fortitude. His masterwork, “The Book of Five Rings,” has guided military leaders, business executives, and individuals seeking personal mastery for centuries. What made Musashi exceptional wasn’t just his sword skills but his unshakeable mental state. He developed a philosophy that enabled him to face death without fear, make decisions without hesitation, and maintain clarity in the midst of chaos. The following five lessons provide practical guidance for cultivating an unshakeable mindset in every area of life. 1. Accept Failure to Succeed “Think lightly of yourself and deeply of the world.” – Miyamoto Musashi. Musashi taught that a warrior must confront the possibility of defeat before every battle. This wasn’t pessimism but rather a radical acceptance of reality. By acknowledging that failure is always possible, he freed himself from the paralyzing fear that prevents people from acting in critical moments. When you’ve already accepted the worst possible outcome, you can act with complete freedom and clarity. The practical application extends to every area of life. When you accept that any venture might fail, any relationship might end, or any achievement might be lost, you paradoxically gain the courage to pursue them fully. Most people live trapped between desire and fear, never committing completely because they can’t accept potential loss. This hesitation guarantees mediocrity. This acceptance doesn’t mean fatalism. It means operating from clear-eyed realism instead of denial. When you start each day acknowledging that circumstances can change instantly, you develop the flexibility to adapt without the emotional devastation that crushes others. You make decisions based on what serves your goals rather than what protects your ego from discomfort.
