#Set sacred hours Are you a wolf, lion, bear, or dolphin? A while ago I started looking into chronotypes, as a night owl, I wanted to understand how I could use that characteristic to my advantage in a world which seems to be set up for the 'morning lark'. (At the time I was working in an 9-5 office job.) The Power of When by Michael Breus gives each of the four chronotypes (wolf, lion, bear, and dolphin) an hour-by-hour plan which will (based on his research) help you get the most out of your day. Another book on the topic is When by Daniel H Pink who argues there are three main chronotypes (lark, owl, and third birds) and again gives you an ideal daily schedule for each type.
#Build an information capture system I really love this idea of filling the secound brain. It is also increadible how much faster we can produce content with that. But still i believe that i can understand topics better if i summarize them with pen and paper. Is there someone who can relate to that? Or someone can tell me how the learning process differs from mark the kindle book and writing note from the with pen and paper? Basil
@Basil Jung I can totally relate to this, I still prefer to write things down by pen and paper and I seem to remember it better when I do. My problem is that I have stacks and stack of paper notebooks and trying to find specific information when I need it is a pain because I have to look through them all. I'm thinking of getting a reMarkable tablet which will still give me the pleasure of hand writing my notes but then they will be kept digitally, and saves paper 😀
#Synthesizing Intro Hi, I'm Heather from Bristol, UK. A self-development junkie, also a night owl. I love content that gives tips and practical advice on how to live your best life. 'Your best life' can vary from person to person but to me it means a life of freedom, truth, purpose, and happiness. The problem I'm currently working on is trying to live a more balanced life where I can growth and thrive soulfully i.e. anti-hustle culture.
#Beware society's opinions I think my suffering comes from overthinking and not staying positive these last couple weeks or maybe months. Sooo just stay positive and optimistic is what I tell myself regularly nowadays
