My Current Collection
I've had almost 100 bottles of perfumes for the past few years. Many I've sold and traded away and this is my current collection. Designers, private blend designers, niches, clones and local brands.

@S. k. Rowe thanks! It is. The performance is really good too. Personally, I would still pick Halfeti over Calfeti but man, that price is insane. Really worth it
Parfums de Marly Carlisle edp
A delicious gourmand scent yet very masculine and dark Vanillic, spicy, woody, sweet, warm, green apple (very short) opening Very elegant, mature, serious, formal type of fragrance Not overwhelming or overpowering Great for office and date nights Earthy, ambery, balsamic, nutty, bit peppery, woody, musky, bit creamy on dry down Very soothing on dry down and is quite addictive Great projection and sillage Great longevity, stays long as skin scent Can last over an 8-hour shift Typical PDM bottle: heavy deep glossy black, solic metallic cap, good atomizer Great overall performance I highly recommend PDM Carlisle ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A supposed clone is Maison Alhambra's Cassius edp Cassius projects stronger but does not have the longevity of the OG Cassius is more peppery on early dry down For a fraction of the cost, it does the job real well

This is in my Top 3 PDM of all time. Number 2, in fact. Not a fan of gourmand, people-would-want-to-eat-you kind of scent but i really love this.
Dua Midnight Rendezvous
This is Dua's take on the legendary La Nuit de l'Homme EDT, the 2010 batch version. The LNDL today has been reformulated, watered down and is nowhere near as good as it used to be. I would still buy it tho. To me, LNDL is a modern classic. One of the best DNA of all time. Some may agree, some may not. It is sexy, seductive, warm, spicy and really classy while not being too over the top to be worn with T-shirt and jeans. The performance is really good. I got over 15 hours with 3 sprays. A cold weather masterpiece.

@Blake Merl they are great! Unfortunately it's quite difficult to get this shipped to my country. I was lucky enough to get my hands on this. Will try scouring other places to secure a backup bottle

@Blake Merl thank you!
Layering Suggestion
I am thinking of getting YSL Le Vestiare Cuir. It's a suede, oud & violet leaf fragrance. I'm just wondering what do you think would be a suitable pair to layer that fragrance with? Right now, I'm thinking something fruity or floral.

@John Palermo i see. I have tried Phantom on its own but didn't like it because it's too light. This might work. Thanks!

Should you pay full retail or order from discounters?
This (normally) is a very easy question in most fraghead's eyes - the answer being discounters. But to be honest, I've never ordered from one. Does this mean I pay full retail for every fragrance? Hell no haha. In my opinion, you can get way better deals if you search for a "good" store with nice employees and build some customer loyalty. This will not only make sure they'll recognise you (and your spendings), but they'll give back to you as well. Most fragrances I've bought were 20-25% off, and recently I've gotten TONS of testers, shampoos and deodorants. All of these extra "gifts" cost about 25-50euro retail (and sure, some of those I might not like/want). But I'm talking about: - 15ml Stronger With You Parfum - 50ml Boss shower gel - 15ml Abercrombie and Fitch 100% Passion - 5ml Boss Bottled EDT - 1.5ml Tom Ford Noir extreme parfum - 1.5ml JPG Le Male Elixir - 1.2ml Prada ocean EDP - 1.2ml Boss Bottled Absolu - 1.5ml Tom Ford eau d'ombré leather All from my last two purchases. So if you're asking me, you'll cover wayyy more ground in the fragrance world by buying in-store - if your goal is to explore the game. However, I'd love to hear your opinions about this topic and if you agree or disagree. Thanks for reading and have a blessed day.

Discounters all the way down for me. If I want to explore new fragrances/scents, I'll just walk in the stores, meet some friends or the easiest is to just buy decants
