"One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" for November's Movie Club!
John Carpenter's The Thing was pretty cool! The visuals and that monster, woooahh! Def fun discussing that one last night. For our Movie Club meeting in November, to celebrate the 50th Anniversary, we're watching ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST! Winner of all 5 major Academy Awards ("The Big Five"): Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Adapted Screenplay. It was the second film in history to achieve this feat! If you haven't seen this movie, you're in for a treat!

Script Swap?
Feedback is welcome. Here is my script for "Head Trip", a 30 minute animated drama comedy. It follows the staff and patients at Overlook Mental Health Hospital. Each episode highlights a different "head trip" for one of the characters. We are taken on a journey as both patients and staff recognize their challenges, but alsodiscover their amazing potential for healing and growth.

Thank you! I started the outlines for 2 more episodes too. One is about a woman who has an eating disorder. One of the patients hears her puking in the bathroom and thinks she is pregnant, so rumors spread. A baby shower is planned, etc. The second is about a woman with dissociative disorder. She receives letters from her deceased husband, whose death was very traumatic for her, only to later realize that she is the author of the letters. All episodes end with some sort of revelation and self growth. And thank you again for the feedback!! A table read is welcome. I have never done one before.
