@Tim Vaughan-Spencer so the summit runs from 17-19th Jan. Then the following week anyone can put on a workshop so i'm doing a painting workshop the Monday just after. But i think you need to have a ticket to attend

Your thoughts/experience on Couchsurfing?
I recently came across the website Couchsurfing, which comes highly recommended by many digital nomads and full-time travelers, especially those who embrace the โ€œtravel without moneyโ€ vibe. I was curiousโ€”has anyone here personally used Couchsurfing? If so, what was your experience like, and would you recommend it?

I used it for years, hosted 150+ people. It's alright but most people who surf are needy cheapskates and there's usually some problems you have to help them with somehow .. Going to events can be good, but definitely hit or miss.... I quit a while ago it's not worth the Drain of energy for me, and while i've met some great people, and had my ass saved the days I was a needy cheapskate ๐Ÿ˜„ I focus on other communities now.

Looks like a fun event Reasonably priced as well, though I wish there was an option to just do the conference.
What's your actual goal?
Ever notice how we all talk about "someday"? "Someday I'll start that business" "Someday I'll travel the world" "Someday I'll build that freedom lifestyle" I get it. I used to live in "someday" too. But here's something I learned the hard way... Someday isn't a goal. Someday isn't a plan. Someday isn't going to get you there. What changed everything for me wasn't finding the perfect strategy or having loads of money... It was setting an actual goal. Not some vague "I want to travel" goal. Not some wishy-washy "I want freedom" goal. A real, concrete, measurable goal. And you know what happened? Everything shifted. Because suddenly I wasn't just dreaming anymore. I was building. I was moving. I was making progress. Even if they were tiny steps. Here's what I've learned... A real goal forces you to move. A real goal makes you uncomfortable. A real goal doesn't let you hide. What's your actual goal? (And yeah... "someday" isn't a goal)

@Monica Nieuwland i recommend a backpack with a backpack attached ๐Ÿ˜ then you can use the daypack for excursions or as carry on or carry both on your back.
