Bots/fake accounts everywhere
I am seeing a lot of uplifting comments from what appears to be bots or fake accounts, and the idea behind seems to be to somehow get you off of this platform, by asking for email or Telegram handles. Is there no moderation by the admin?

@Shoaib Iqbal If you have any kind of issue you can report those accounts to administrators. Next to each post you have three dots. When you press it there is an option "Report to admins". I hope it works, I used it a few times. Be careful with sharing your personal data.
Andrew, is truly an exceptional Teacher
I'm thrilled to share that I finally passed my PMP — after three years, one failed attempt, a lot of procrastination, and plenty of self-doubt along the way. I stayed away from Reddit and other noise and stuck strictly with Andrew’s materials, and it made all the difference. Your explanations and approach to project management are excellent. Thank you for your weekly classes, and especially for your time and dedication. I also want to thank my study buddy, they were such great motivation during the PMP study period @Jay Ajayi @Cornelius Olajide

@Titi Awe Congratulations! And yes, staying focused and avoiding any kind of distraction is of the utmost importance.
Is the Mock Exam Requiredfor the 35hour certificate
Just finished all the lectures (including the quizzes) of the 35-hour PMP course! The only thing I haven't done yet is the mock exam (section 15). Do I need to finish this before requesting my 35-hour certificate? The reason for asking is that I'd prefer to complete my application now and then take the mock exam sometime next week. At the start of the course, Andrew states that everything must be completed (but doesn't specifically mention the mock exam). However, I found a Reddit thread that states the mock exam actually doesn't need to be completed: https://www.reddit.com/r/pmp/comments/12zq63w/is_ars_mock_exam_required_before_getting/ I thought I'd better apply the PMP mindset and ask the SME's before making any decisions 😅 Btw, I really valued the course. I feel like it laid a great foundation for my learning (although the process part was a bit of a slog to get through at times 😉 Thanks Andrew and the rest of the team!

@Sebastiaan Ottenheym This is my personal opinion: it's not "required" and it will not affect your application. However, it is highly recommended to take mock exams (both the practice and the exam mode), since they are extremely helpful. Take as many as possible mock exams (PMI Study Hall, TIA PMP Simulator). They will help you to develop PMP Mindset. And don't rush, adopting this mindset takes time. This approach will get you closer to passing PMP Exam on your first try. Study to become a better PM, not just to pass. Good luck!

@Muhammad Shaheryar Hassan Don't be discouraged. Make a short break and start preparing for the new exam. Your official report is available in your PMI Dashboard under "Exam Analysis". This will help you to better understand which domain needs more of your attention. Adopting PMP Mindset is crucial. PMP mindest is not based on memorizing terms. Instead, try to understand which document you should use or update in a specific situation, such as Risk Register, Issue Log, Stakeholder Register, Lessons Learned, etc. You also need to understand how to choose answers based on PM best practices rather than just memorizing the facts, rules and definitions. In other words, you have to study to understand not to pass. All questions on PMP exam are situational questions, no one will ask from you any definition. Next, it is very hepful if you understand WHY processes happen in a certain sequence. Of course, you should generally know what phase a project is in (Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring/Controlling, Closing) and the overall logic, but don't try to memorize processes. However, some project management facts you have to memorize. For example: project exclusions are located in Project Scope Ststement. In Agile pay particular attention to the Agile dynamics: product backlog, Agile roles (agile project manager/scrum master, agile team, and Product Owner), Agile ceremonies, sprints, Kanban, burndow/burnup charts, EVM formulas, information radiator. Hope this was helpful.

@Muhammad Shaheryar Hassan There is no doubt. I've also passed on my second attempt. Good luck and reach out if you need additional studying material or any kind of support.
On my third attempt and nervous
I took my PMP test twice and failed both times. I took the second one on 7/7 and although I did much better than the first attempt and feel like I was close to passing, I didn’t. Now that I’m on my third try, I’m very nervous since it’s a new test and if I don’t pass I will have to wait a year. Any suggestions on what I can do to be sure that I pass this time around? I have already taken multiple practice exams, used the Simulator, used PMI Study Hall tests, etc.

@Lisa Knoten Did you score at least 70-75% on your mock exams? My suggestion as follow: - Don't rush, this last time has to be the right one. And don't forget: this time you have to review new sections, such as AI, sustainability, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices. - Make your own flash cards. - Make your own list of hard questions and review them over and over again. - Don't forget to take your own notes. This is a very important part of learning. - Adopt PMP Mindset. Reach out if you need clarification about this term. - Study 2h per day, 6 days per week. Consistency is a key. Avoid distractions, stay focused. You are doing this for yourself. - Study to become a better PM, don't study to pass. Good luck!
