@Kristi Malmberg Hej, great question! It’s easy to mix these concepts up because they’re often discussed together. The Prime 901-R that we use is primarily a water purification and ionization system. It filters the water, ionizes it, and at the same time produces molecular hydrogen (H₂). With this type of system, higher pH settings are also associated with higher H₂ production. A dedicated hydrogen water machine, on the other hand, has one main purpose: to produce the highest possible concentration of molecular hydrogen. So if your main goal is maximizing H₂, those machines will generally provide a higher hydrogen concentration. Personally, I believe that clean water should always come first. That's why I like the Prime system, it gives purified water while also providing the benefits of ionization and some molecular hydrogen. And if you choose to use a dedicated hydrogen water machine, I think it's still an advantage to start with properly purified water. It's a fascinating area of research, and definitely something we can dive deeper into in a future Q&A or podcast episode. 😃💧
