🃏🃏🃏Three Card Thursday!
Meet James. James just quit his band the night before his biggest gig ever!!! Card: The Hierophant (What Jamie is running FROM) Card 2: Two of Pentacles (What Jamie is actually chasing) Card 3: The Star (What Jamie doesn't know yet) Fill in the blanks using a word FROM each card: (Use your Level 2 Keyword Cheatsheet!!) James is running from ______ (noun — Card 1) because it made him feel ______ (adjective — Card 1). But what James is really chasing is ______ (noun — Card 2) so that he can finally feel ______ (adjective — Card 2). What James doesn't know yet is that ______ (noun — Card 3) is coming and it's going to feel ______ (adjective — Card 3). (Just in case grade school was a long time ago!! 😆 Noun = a person, place, or thing. Adjective = a describing word. Verb = an action word.) Now read all three sentences together as Jamie's full story. Comment it below!

Okay, here's my take... James is running from established entertainment industry dogma because it makes him feel creatively stifled. He knew that if this gig was a success, he would be branded a band rather than a creative musician, and would lose his individual identity. But what James is really chasing is maintaining balance between fame and what will be expected of him, and creative freedom, so that he can finally feel autonomous. What James doesn't know yet is that his destiny is to shine in the music industry and it's going to feel like his dreams have come true.

Hey there! Watched your replay. I would have come live, but it's midnight for me at that time 😄 I totally understand the short-term memory loss. I have the same thing from high-end medication that I was on when I had pneumonia. Maybe the same medication 😶I remember talking to hubs about the 'turny thing that water comes out of'... he said, 'A tap?' 😣Yes!
A Tale of Two Cards Tuesday! 📖: The Sun and Five of Swords
These two just walked into a room together. There's tension? There's drama? What happened? How did it start? How would you resolve it?

I was going to say, The Sun told the 5 of Swords to 'chill'. It didn't go down well. If you want to know the rest of the story, read what @Meaghan Vaughan wrote. It's awesome. And I don't think that I could make up a better story.

🃏 SEMIFINALS Match 1: ⚔️ The Fool vs Tower

Oh, this is tricky. Both the Fool and the Tower could be disastrous, depending on how it was handled. But doing Fool energy, that fearless, reckless leap could blow up in their face, and be seen as negatives that it is most likely not - eg. jealously, and petty finger-pointing. The Tower is my current way of handling a situation like this. If the so-called friend has more power than them (being a friend you would have shared goss) anything you've spoken to them about in the past could be used against you. And if they're doing this behind your back, they're not a friend. Take your knowledge and run. The 'friend' won't be able to continue the charade when they can't 'borrow' your work. They should be found out pretty quickly. I think both cards could have the same end result, but I would prefer to do it with Tower energy. Let them crash.
