@Rachael Crawford it’s all good. It was a great weekend. Just insanely busy with minimal sleep. I did a whole lot of nothing today so that helped lol I’m now just trying to get caught up here a little

Day 10: 3 of wands. His feet are pointing in opposite directions. I know feet are hugely symbolic in this deck, so I’m assuming since this card is about going on a journey, that this is to denote he is currently debating which direction to go next. Like he’s at a fork in the road and has to make a decision what comes next. Note: he’s also wearing the checkerboard, so he’s also being strategic about it!

Ok. This is day 11, 12, and 13. All in one picture lol I just could not put myself in the headspace to do these before now with how busy this weekend was. And I’d rather be in the right headspace with cards before even touching them - let alone pulling some. Even if they aren’t meant to mean anything. ANYWAY! Day 11: 9 of wands. I’ve literally just been studying the whole suit of wands so it’s really hard for me to find “new” in them when I was just staring at this card for an hour the other day lol but I did manage to notice his eyes. In most of the deck, peoples eyes either aren’t open, or they are dark. This dude is on some serious pain killers they way his are pinned out 🤣 I don’t know if she meant to draw them on the lighter side for some reason (I do remember decades ago someone mentioned how each suit represent people with different features - think “seasons”… like autumns are darker skinned dark eyes dark hair, and they might be attributed to a specific suit. But I could never remember which suits carried which features. So anyway. Don’t know if that was the reason his eyes are light or if because he’s standing at a distance, any darker of the eyes would just appear to be black holes. 🤷‍♀️ Day 12: 4 of wands (these wands are haunting me lol). Again. Just stared at this card for an hour last week. But I didn’t notice the possible water wheel on the right hand side of the building? There are carve-outs that could just be windows but the whole thing looks like a wheel for a mill or something. Day 13: Ace of pents. This is one I have noticed before, but not to the extreme I see it now. This card represents the beginning of a “physical” journey. Now this could be health or money or even hiking the Appalachian trail lol this pathway leading to the arch is the first steps in your journey. Behind the arch is what is to come. As with most journeys there are always to be difficulties, but in this card those difficulties look exceptionally difficult. That is a SHARP peak showing. Really steep uphill with a hard fall downward with the wrong steps. So watching your steps in this journey is especially important. Don’t be fooled by the pretty bountiful beginnings.

@Jeff Peden the cards are mostly ok. It’s the book and the layout page that came with it. I wiped with vinegar and I’m letting air dry. Hoping it stops it from spreading.

@Casey Kosina the wild unknown is a pip deck, so unless you know your cards well, it’s probably not a great deck to invest in yet. The crow has a bit more details, but still a little vague for the novice. And I find it a little darker than I was looking for at the time. I haven’t used either in literal years, so they may speak to me differently now. But that was my last impression of them.
