Ask Marsha - What Should I Be Doing for Family Member with Severe Mental Decline?
UPDATE: For whatever reason, if you try to click on the black and white image it tells you the video isn't available. So, please click the blue link...it should then work just fine. Don't know why this is happening but -- we love technology! LOL https://youtu.be/FYbBc4Lhx1Q?views Finally, here is my first "Ask Marsha" segment. It was going to be a long written response so I decided to record a video of my response. These are some basic strategies and tips on how to offer care and support to a loved one who is experiencing mental decline and memory loss. This is always one of the toughest situations to be in as a family. Hope you find this helpful. Leave any comments, insights, questions in the community as there is so much more that can be provided on this topic. Here is the link to my response: https://youtu.be/FYbBc4Lhx1Q?views

I have been a care giver to my grandmother and my aunties through the end of their earthly life. I have a clear understanding of my feeling about life and death for myself and now I want to help my son learn how to handle it when it's time for me to exit this earthly life. I have always believed if I understand my feels about death and dying, and making sure things are set up the way I want them to be it would make this difficult time for my son much easier on him.
