🔥 Trending Posts: The Easiest Way to Grow… IF You Do Them Right
One of the fastest, laziest, most effective ways to grow your pet care brand on social media is simple: 👉 Ride the trends. But ride them strategically. Most small pet businesses avoid trends because they think: - “It’s cringe.” - “I don’t know what to post.” - “I don’t want to dance.” - “I don’t have time.” But the truth is… Trending audio + a niche specific message = effortless reach. Here’s how to do it the DigDogs way 👇 ✨ 1. Don’t copy the trend - adapt it. The trend is just the vehicle. Your niche (dogs, training, daycare, walking, behaviour, business behind the scenes) is the message. Examples: - Trend audio: “I’m just a baby!” → Use it for puppy clients, teen dog chaos or explaining why dogs need boundaries - Trend: “Hee hee haa haa” → Use it for the moment a dog rolls in fox poo - Trend: “Tell me without telling me” → Use it for recognisable pet care struggles clients relate to ✨ 2. Keep it under 7 seconds. Short videos = more completion rate = better reach. Don’t overthink it. A sniff, a zoomie, a tail wag… that’s enough. ✨ 3. Think: ‘What do my clients already love to watch?’ The more emotion in your post, the more it performs. Great content pillars to pair with trends: - Puppies (always viral) - Before/after grooms - Muddy → clean - Dog instincts explained - Daily daycare clips - A “relatable dog parent moment” ✨ 4. Use trends to show your personality. People book PEOPLE - not services. Trends give you permission to be fun, real, and memorable… without needing a full production. You don’t need to be funny, loud or extroverted. Just be YOU but on a 7 second trend. ✨ 5. Post it even if it feels imperfect. The algorithm literally does not care how you look. It cares about: - watch time - relatability - emotion - clear niche Your clients prefer authentic over polished. ✨ 6. Don’t wait for the perfect trend - use ANY that fits. Trending audio lasts 3 to 7 days. If you overthink it, you miss it. Scroll → Save audio → Film 5 seconds → Upload.

@David Peterson what do you build
So, what’s broken today? 😞
Is anyone else being driven mad by the constant stream of little things that need replacing in their business? 😩 It honestly feels like every single day something else is broken, missing, worn out or needs topping up: 🧽 another sponge 🧺 more towels 🧼 cleaning bits 🛠️ something snaps or stops working 🌀 washing machine issues 🪣 squeegees, mops, cloths… again Individually they’re tiny costs. But when it’s happening daily, it’s exhausting financially and mentally. It’s not even the money half the time… it’s the relentlessness of it. Like you can’t get ahead because there’s always one more thing to repair, replace or reorder. Running a business really is just: “What’s broken today?” 😂 How do you guys manage this without losing your mind? Do you budget for it properly or just absorb it as part of the chaos?

💩 £24,000 a year… picking up dog poo?!
Before you laugh — read this 👀 A dad of four in the UK spotted a trend blowing up in the US and decided to actually do something about it. He launched a dog waste removal service charging: - £30 first visit - £15 per week after that With 35 regular clients, working just 12 hours across 2 days a week, he’s pulling in around: 💷 £2,000 a month ⏱️ Nearly £44 per hour Most of his clients? ➡️ Elderly ➡️ Disabled ➡️ People who physically can’t manage garden clean-ups So this isn’t just “easy money”… it’s a problem-solving service. He’s even added grass cutting + disinfecting for extra income — stacking services for the same clients 🔁 💡 The real lesson here: You don’t need a fancy idea. You need: - A real problem - A clear audience - A simple service - Consistent customers This beats a 10-hour construction shift… and it started as a side hustle 😯 👇 Question for you: What boring, overlooked problem could you turn into reliable monthly income?
