He is always a fantastic auctioneer to listen to! I think we need to create a collage of auctioneers selling and create a Spotify sound track we can put on repeats

What is your dream auction?
Mine is hosting an event with Ryan Reynolds. I'd love to be on stage with him as his auctioneer making an impact however I can. Here's a little flashback of when I got to share a sound stage with him.

I would love to do an event with the Seattle Mariners for Seahawks. Being a big sports person I think that would be super fun.
Last Years IAC Run
Since we are on the topic of auctioneer contests, here is a link to my run from last year's IAC. Stairs to Stairs is a real thing. This last year, since the contest, has been my best year by far in the auction industry. It has been busier, and I have made connections that have helped my business grow. I learned a lot and have improved a lot since that day, but I am so grateful I did it and can't wait until next year. Sadly, this year won't work. Looking back at this video, I can see about a dozen things I would change, but I would never change the fact that I walked on that stage!

@Brian A Avelar Thanks, I would recommend your approach of starting with a state contest. The IAC might be a little much for a first ever contest. But it was a lot of fun either way. :)
Voice After Care
I know it has been discussed, but what is everyone’s after auction voice routine? Yesterday’s sale was six hours with no breaks. Plus a poor sound system has left my voice feeling extremely strained. So lots of tea, and vocal rest, but curious what everyone else does in days like this.

@Brian A Avelar when I was inside it was fine, but when we moved into the sun, and away from the speakers it got more difficult. Six hours with only one auctioneer gets tough. 😬

@Bobby D. Ehlert it was the fire departments PA system. I have been thinking about getting a system for a while. Probably time to get something soon for sure. You can hear the system struggle from the video I posted.
