First time
I found out about 2 or maybe 3 weeks ago, that I will be the auctioneer for our fundraising dinner and live auction that will take place on March 7 which will benefit the Gospel Rescue Mission that I work at. I started watching these videos, learning as much as I can. We did a small in house auction using some “GRM dollars “ yesterday. It was fun and I’m looking forward to the event, but I have much to learn in not a lot of time. Thank you for this Skool. It has been helpful.

I loved the line in the PDF; is your focus performance or service! What a powerful thing to keep in mind. Too often it is easy to lose track of why we are at an event. I had a client reach out to me because the last auctioneer they worked with was all about the performance and didn't look for opportunities to serve and left the client with a less than desirable review from attendees.

Auctioneering while riding a bull?
Has anyone ever done something crazy while bid calling? I just left a 2 hour consultation meeting with a client and they asked if I would be willing to sell one item while riding a mechanical bull for our Night at the Texas Rodeo themed event. 🐂 It could make a great video or painful one 😂😂😂
