My Biography I'm DeDe Sha'Ron® ~ The Throwback Kween®, a Charlotte, NC based R&B sensation by way of upstate NY. I create nostalgic 90s R&B Soul with modern beats—effortless vocals, catchy hooks, and authentic lyrics that hit deep. On stage, I'm an experience, bringing the golden era back to life. My journey shaped me: foster kid, single mom, survivor. I walked away from my first record deal to protect my daughter. I relocated alone because I'd rather fail trying than live with regret. These moments taught me resilience and gave my music purpose. Beyond the sound, I steward SEE ME NOW?—a movement for the brokenhearted, the ones who settled, who believed love had to hurt. My lyrics are my healing, giving listeners permission to love themselves first. I'm here to remind you: you are more than enough. And I'm putting the SOUL back into R&B. ~ Feel The Experience! ~ About the Project Here We Go is more than an album—it's a declaration. It's the sound of a woman who has been counted out, broken, and overlooked, finally stepping into her purpose. This project is the turning point. The moment I stopped asking for permission and started claiming my space. Musically, the album is rooted in nostalgic 90s R&B, infused with modern beats and soulful flexibility. My influences include the golden era greats—artists who made you feel every note. But this isn't a throwback record. It's a bridge between the soul of the past and the fire of today. The recording process was deeply personal. I worked closely with my producers, as I single handedly chose each track's concept, tracking vocals on a 24-track board, writing and rewriting until every word hit its mark. My favorite part? Stacking those background harmonies—layering voice upon voice until the acapella sections felt like a choir of instruments. That's where the magic lives for me. Laying down what I hear in my head and sharing it with the world. Lyrically, Here We Go explores resilience, heartbreak, self-worth, and the courage to choose yourself. Titles like 'Be Real,' 'Da Struggle,' 'Here We Go,' 'You Make Me,' and more reflect the emotional range—from the pain of being unseen to the triumph of knowing you are more than enough. This album is my testimony. It's for every woman who ever settled, who ever believed love had to hurt, who ever forgot their own power.
