New Visio 120 gallon
Wanted to post this picture before the ugly phase starts. I have plenty of coral for this new build. I am looking forward to starting another reef keeping journey. Thanks Gavin and team for being available to answer questions and offer suggestions along the way.

@Chris Fitzner Looks awesome man! Thanks for sharing
Be merciful, I’m new haha
The “ugly stage” - ride it out or do something to fix it? I don’t know what is the best practice and I have been finding conflicting info so I hoped that someone here could give me some advice.

@Rebecca LeMay Ok so basically you’re gonna treat this tank like a freshwater tank that’s got salt in it. What do I mean here? 1. Test your nitrate in the aquarium. Keep it under 20. 2. Do a weekly gravel vac. With water change (2-5 gallons) 3. Clean the intake filter in tank water. Just squeeze it a few times in a bucket. 4. Keep your salinity stable. That’s really all there is to it to be honest! Clean up crew stocking: 5 astrea snail 2 cerith snail 2 Trochus snail 3 nassarius snails This tank looks perfectly healthy and normal and you’re just seeing algae a little more clearly cause the light isn’t as blue. None of the algae I’m seeing is really true nuisance algae.

@Rebecca LeMay You can likely wait the full week and things will be ok.
Tank update Red Sea 350 in the shop
Forgot my phone charger at the shop. Ran back in with all the lights and was stunned by how beautiful this tank is when the shop is blacked out. I did a water change and clean on this tank today. Siphoned out a lot of waste. I get super caught up in marketing, data analytics, employee management etc. etc. etc. that I often forget what the core thing is that we do. Heavy blues, Orphek lens kit. iPhone 15

UPDATE
Hi Everyone, I’ve decided to cut the livestream calls from once a week down to once a month. My goal with this is to create better presentations and schedule them at a time where more people will be able to attend. I was also finding it easier if people just messaged me to answer specific questions or posted them in here rather than block off a time to answer live every single week. Most weeks I was in there solo anyways! Please answer the poll with what day of the week is most free for you so we can choose a day to schedule our monthly call.
