I'd like to introduce my city to you guys. If you have leasure time ,please visit my city and enjoy qulity time with your family or friends.Weihai is my city,located in Shandong Province,northeastern part of China.It's a coastal city beside the ocean. At today ,I'd like to share one of very famouse sightseeing spot called Liugong island in Weihai.Liugong island is located in Weihai bay, at the easternmost part of Shandong Peninsula.It's a 5A-level scenic spot blending natural scenery with historical culture. 87% of the area of Liugong island is covered by forests,earning it the titles of a fairy mountain on the sea and a paradise beyond the world.The main tourist attractions are the Sino-Japanese Naval battle of 1894-1895 Exhibition Hall and the Liugong Island Expo Park. The Liugong Island Expo Park covers an area of 50,000 square meters,mainly introducing the culture of Liugong Island, the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895,and the history of the British occupation period. Do you know why Liugong Island is famouse in China and even the world? This is because this place was a naval base of the Qing Dynasty,where the famouse Sino-Japanese Naval Battle took place.
