Welcome to the Budo Brothers Academy
Welcome to the Budo Brothers Academy. This community exists so we can build a closer connection with you — our fellow martial artists. Social media has become noisy, watered down, and full of distractions. Instead of letting our best work get lost in the scroll, we decided to carve out a space where we can share our highest-quality content, go deeper, and actually connect with the people who care about this path. Inside this community, you’ll find: - Premium content drops we don’t post anywhere else - Live training sessions with martial artists and instructors you can train with from home - A shared calendar so you can follow along and stay consistent - Our digital seminars — in-depth, professionally filmed courses - A monthly product giveaway, automatically entered just for being here This is also a place for conversation and feedback. Tell us what resonates. Tell us what you want to see next. This community helps shape the direction of what we create. Most importantly, engage. Ask questions. Share your thoughts. Help us grow this into something meaningful. As a thank you for being here, we’d love to give you a free gift. We teamed up with our friend and author David Badurina to write Joy-Jitsu, a book about building Budo Brothers and using martial arts principles to overcome obstacles and create a life filled with purpose and joy. Click the link below and use code FREEJOY to get 100% off the digital book and audiobook. 👉 https://bit.ly/4qgVJY9 If you enjoy it, share it with someone who might benefit. We’re glad you’re here. Bagua The Art of Tactical Circles
This is a rare inside look into a private DTAC.08 training intensive—captured by the Budo Brothers during a closed session for Law Enforcement and Military personnel. What you’re seeing is not technique… It’s a Tactical Delivery System. At the core is ARC (Adaptive Response Control) and the principle of Tactical Circles—a universal movement method that allows you to: • Control without force • Flow under pressure • Adapt in real time • Integrate striking, grappling, and control seamlessly Built for Real-World Application This system can be applied across: • Law Enforcement • Military • Martial Arts (any style or system) Tactical Circles allow you to: • Move around resistance • Position before applying force • Control outcomes, not just exchanges Proven System DTAC.08 has been taught and tested at ILEETA, where Sifu Singh has been selected 14 times to present, and has been taught to 200+ training officers and agencies worldwide. Built on the principle: State → Strategy → Tactics → Tools Weaponizing Flow This is about awareness, positioning, and execution under pressure— turning movement into flow, control, and adaptability in real time. https://youtu.be/aB1OLtHl_Dc?si=giWxyYfboIGEnYEG

Karambit knife
OK, I want to talk a little bit about the Karambit so for those of us that trained with this weapon in the Filipino martial arts, we know a little history about this is that it started out as a farming implement for cultivating soil and planning seeds in Indonesia, and then moved into other Asian countries, if my history is correct. We also know that there's basically three different grips. The reverse grip or pickle grip where the claw is pointed down towards the opponent and then there's the Sak Sak grip or forehand grip where the claw of the blade is also pointed towards the opponent, but the blade point is at the top rather than at the bottom. There's also the extended grip.So I have a few of these as actual weapons and aluminum trainers. And it seems like every single one that I see that comes with a sheath by the time you put it on your body around your belt the claw is pointed away from your opponent, instead of pointing forward towards your opponent, so using that type of sheet, I would have to wear it on the left side of my belt and honestly anything can happen within a quick second and I don't like the idea of crossing my right arm to reach for my blade, therefore tying my body up so I would rather deploy my weapon from my right side. Tell me what you guys think because I can't seem to find a sheath that is designed to be used more as a self-defense weapon as you wear it on your body.

This is a great question! I do not have a lot of knowledge around how the sheath should be set up. But we do know some people that could work with you to build a custom sheath. Let us know if you are interested?
Who would you like to see next?
We’re big believers in giving you what you actually want to see, and we’re always working to bring you the highest-quality content possible. With that in mind, we’d love your input. As we start looking ahead to 2027 and planning future live seminars, drop the names of martial artists you’d like us to film with in the comments below. If you see someone already mentioned that you’d like to learn from, give that comment a thumbs up—this will help us prioritize who we reach out to next. We truly appreciate your support and your role in helping us build something special here.
