Open your US bank account here
If you have your LLC you now need to open bank accounts (the first two are free so open both!). I'm going to share some links below to what I think are the best options. They are my affiliate links and I'll address them separately so you can understand the benefits. When applying, be honest but always emphasize more on how you will help your US clients. Relay financial - I have a great relationship with relayfi and they have told me that applicants that use this link have a greater likelihood of being approved. I use relay for my business and it has been great.the account is free to open. https://app.relayfi.com/register?referralcode=jimbaker Mercury bank - this is another great option. Again focus on how you are serving clients in the US. This link should give you bonuses once you are approved. The account is free to open. https://mercury.com/partner/jamesbakercpa Wise - this is not a bank but is a useful way to get paid and pay other people sign up with my link to get free transfers up to $500.. the account is free to open but there are small fees to open different currency accounts https://wise.com/invite/ahpc/jamesb2812 Stripe - if you are selling anything I would first try stripe.com for payment processing. I don't have a special link for them. Let me know if there are other accounts you may be interested in, how this goes for you and which you prefer!

My experience in Florida last week: I visited a Truist location near Miami airport and the clerk told me they couldn't help me because the LLC was out of state. (WY LLC and CA address.) I then visited a Bank of America in Key West. Although I have a personal account with BOA, I was also told that the business being out of state was an issue. I visited a branch of Horizon Bank and they told me that I needed a Florida license to open an account. Unfortunately, that was all the time I had for this trip. On a positive note, I was successful with Mercury. It took a bit of back and forth with documents for my address outside of the USA. My application with Relay is progressing, yet they seem to have an issue with my new business address. My letter from the IRS and my Tello bill were declined as a proof of address. I submitted my Mercury statement; we'll see what happens. I managed to get Stripe and hook it up to Mercury, which is a good start. I'm hoping to find a good alternative to Stripe next.
Getting an EIN
I have heard that people who apply for an EIN via fax often wait a long time. How should those without an ITIN/SSN proceed?

I received mine by mail Saturday (about 8 weeks.) I thought they would fax it first, but that didn't happen.

@Alejandro Valencia Might be faster for you. Mine was initially submitted just before Christmas. All the best!
Cancel virtual fax service?
I signed up for a virtual fax line to submit my EIN application. Will this be needed for the ITIN application process? Now that I have received my EIN by mail, can I cancel that line, or will it be used by the IRS for anything else?

Thank you!
Referrals for a certifying agent in Miami?
I'm flying to Miami next week. Any suggestion for a certifying acceptance agent I could meet to certify my passport while I'm there? I also plan to open bank accounts. Any suggestions are appreciated.
