Can you please explain if all the previous recordings we have access to in Skool will still be accessible in Skool? Sorry if I’m asking what you may have already answered in the comment above:)
Hey everyone! I hope you had the opportunity to sign up for the RYI challenge! How was the first day for you guys? What did you learn? I would love to hear about it and I am so excited to hear about everyone's progress & takeaways!
It was great Adriana! I learned that there are more and more HCP who are becoming aware that there is a way to make much better decisions on how we can create a 168 vehicle to help achieve those dreams that are hard to reach or sadly, may not be reached with the financial disarray of our current workforce system. GT provides a way to empower us and gives us a “wake up call”’ on the importance of building partnerships.
Pains and frustrations ranked in order 1. I feel stuck and fearful I won’t get out of traditional one to one Healthcare. 2. I can make more money doing this business of ergonomics on my own but I am not sure where to start 3. employer does not want ergonomics added to my caseload even though I am skilled in this area. 4. I’m frustrated that I have not started anything to empower myself in my ability to help others away from a clinic based setting. 5. I feel overwhelmed on where to start to build my own ergonomics business / practice. Worries/Fears 1. I fear I don’t know enough about ergonomics even though I had it in school. 2. I am fearful that I have been told I would create a conflict of interest if I started a side hustle of Ergonomics in conjunction with my current employment. 3. I am fearful that PTs and ergonomists will have more opportunities than OT’s. 4. I am concerned that there are not enough clients to go around to serve in the field of ergonomics 5. I’m worried that I do not know enough about the latest equipment that has been out on the market for recommending to my potential client. 6. Goals/Desires -next entry 7.
Here is the 1st podcast, Zi chose to place it first on Memorial Day weekend in honor of our veterans of whom my son was deployed with many who gave all for our freedom.🇺🇸 https://open.spotify.com/episode/13JiBLkyJ5b9Rs9SH2vsTz?si=CKY58d3nSIS51Q3ep_GIQQ

@Katie Krieg Aw thank you! I am in a rural area slightly east of San Antonio called Saint Hedwig, You’re not so far as IH 35 takes us all up & down our great big state! Nice to meet another Texan! I will be offering a survey just for GT’s members of the Invincible community at week 4 on your use of devices, posture, and ergonomics! Be on the look out in the Telegram chat & TY in advance if you respond:) 🧑🏽💻👩🏻💻👨🏾💻🧑🏼💻
@Laura Turner awesome! I know you’ll make your goals in getting the help for the cheerleaders and yes, it will be exciting to be able to include help for the moms as it comes to a full circle!
Here is my list of top 5 folks I am working on interviewing : 1. Kristen Beshay (OT & Ergonomics Consultant) 2. Darcie Jeremy (bCPE) (my coach and ergonomics mentor) 3. Karen Jacobs (OT, Ergonomist, author, Professor) 4. Carlyn Meek (OT mental health specialist for OTs) 5. David McCombs (OT/ ergonomics ; founder of OT Focus)
I love Winning Wednesday, it's the sharing wins and successes being a powerful way to build a strong and supportive community. It encourages everyone to celebrate each other's achievements, big or small, and to keep striving towards their goals. By sharing our successes, we not only inspire and motivate others, but we also acknowledge our own progress and boost our own self-confidence. So let's take a moment to celebrate the wins we've had over the past week, and encourage each other to keep growing and achieving even more. Remember, together we can accomplish great things! So drop those wins below!
Hi Jenn, I just now found this thread as I am looking for the link to get my VIP ticket for the event! I don’t know why I struggle to find it even though I’ve seen if several times!😂 So I am contacting people from my 10 to schedule interviews and I am providing feedback and visiting their social media platforms! I am excited about having these folks for a podcast which I hope to turn it into a 168 vehicle ! Also working on my online course by finding out what OTs want to know about ergonomics:) Hope you are having a great day! Viva Fiesta here in San Antonio. Going to night parade Fiesta Flambou with son & youngest dtr tomorrow evening:)
Just wanted to throw a thread up here in case people wanted to have a central place to check and connect for finding roommates for SSHC Live. I've seen some scattered mentions of people looking, so I figured it may be worth creating a "rooming ad" board of sorts. I personally already have my room fully occupied, but for anyone else who wants to drop their accommodations or are looking for someone else for splitting a rooming situation--feel free to use this post!
Can you please send contact info re: hotel. I am splitting a room with a colleague from out IIS group. Can we reserve the room in each of our names or just under one name? TYIA
Hi! Can anyone just give me a brief overview what Tech Tuesday is about , would like to know what it is about so I can bring more in-depth questions I may have about topics .
Video 1 my name is Elsa and I have a solo business providing office ergonomics to working from home individuals on 1:1 and remote basis. I am an OT of 33 years and I joined Greg’s group because I really struggle with how to structure each step of the process that is needed to market myself to the right audience. I know I am creative, definitely have been functioning out of the box since I discovered in 2016 but I couldn’t do more on my own as I found I lacked discipline to stick to my goals ( I have adult ADHD which got worse during 2020/2021). My parents worked really hard for their earnings and they taught us to be responsible with our earnings : pay our bills, to be “self-sufficient”, and save money but at the end there was not much left. They lived a simple and humble life and supported college for my sister and I but in reality times have not been the same for us as it was for them. I am tired of limiting my resources to get the help I need for my ADHD due to financial barriers. I want with great passion to retire my husband so he can stop trading all his earnings with so much time and frustration that he deals with in the healthcare world daily! I know I am smart, not shy to share with others, and have a willing passion to learn from the Invincible program to get me going with a 168 vehicle to make my dreams a reality. I am so willing to work hard and to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Video 2: In understanding the 30/40/30 rule, I am reminded on taxes from my spouse that the 40% is one where we’ve been able to use loopholes of our businesses that I started as an OT to help with this trying part of “takeout income” at state and federal levels! I aspire to earn 182K the first year then 260 K second year and by the third year 500 K. Sounds like a lot but if you think about it, I have earned over 2 million over a long 27 yrs as a full time OT then only 100K as a business owner in the last 5! My goal is to make 1 million over a period of 8 years with a strong 168 vehicle that will carry me and my spouse into our 70s 80s and 90s if the good Lord wills! I want to leave something for my family especially peace of mind:).
#Video 3 What stood out for me the most is that I need to take more actions. I suffer from analysis paralysis and fear of failure that I spent most of my time on the knowledge and research then fail to execute! Thats why I joined this challenge because it will push me to get out of my comfort zone and have people to call me out as needed. I need to FAIL more to have MASTERY
