One of the biggest challenges I faced was not having a clear direction early on of what I wanted in a career. I really was only focusing on working hard and taking opportunities as they came, but I didn't always have a concrete goal guiding me, nor could I relay that to the network I was building at the time. Now that I have a better sense of what I want, the challenge has become about timing and visibility - breaking into the right role, getting interviews, and rebuilding.
