Shutting down Skool hub?
So it seems like Skool isn't really doing it for people... Yes? No? I'm thinking of closing it down, since I have so many other irons in the fire, and this avenue isn't getting much engagement or traction. Any thoughts? Would you miss this Skool community if it were gone? We still have Practice Better for messages (as well as consults, document storage, future courses/programs, etc.), which is better IMO because it is HIPAA compliant. And we also have email, plus my website, podcast, blog, recipes and weekly email newsletter to stay connected through. So, my inclination is to let this go. I'll let that idea sit for a few days, and see what you all say.

Hi Emily! So sorry for the radio silence. was out of town and just getting caught up. i would love a carnivore support community -- is that separate from skool? was skool ust the tool or when you talk about shutting down skool does that mean not strarting up a carnivore community? regardless look forward to reconnecting one-on-one -- probably late Nov. or early Dec. Was doing really well on carnivore and fell off on travels -- which sucks. 🫤 i am still committed to achieving ketosis on a consistent and longterm basis.

Hiya! 👋 Today for (early) lunch, I had a gorgeous, bone-in, nice-and-fatty pork chop, cooked in the air fryer, with a bit of butter and extra salt added on top before plating. Plain, cold mineral water to drink. Deeelish!! 😋 What are you having to eat and drink for your Carnivore journey today?

Will have to catch up on this tonight. Food is good but still trying to figure out right electrolyte dose (feeling a little lightness in chest hard to describe -- metabolic transition? anxiety? ...?). Have a good day everyone.

@Dr Emily Franklin It is incredibly good -- i also sear the meat in lots of butter before putting it in the crock pot and add 2 scoop of collogen powder.
Day one reality check
Joining this group has inspired me to look more carefully into my "carnivore" diet that I have been doing now for 2 months. I have been way off, doing too much of everything, more fat than protein and too many carbs through dairy addictions with heavy creme and Kefir. I hope to find some support here for dropping the heavy creme, kefir, sour creme and occasional cheese.

I appreciate the input around dairy. I am not quite there ... i use a couple oz of 1/2-1/2 in the morning. Sometimes I use cheese/sour cream with beef. Trying to find what's sustainable for me until I stabilize on carnivore. I've had several rounds of reverting back to a day of using sugar (has been a serious addiction for me) but once again I am sugar-free and on day 8 of carnivore. Feeling and hoping to stay more committed.

Good. A little confused. The Carnivore Reset says I don't have access to the course. Not sure if I'm missing something ... Also, does the group meet in the mornings online or is it all digital chats? Just trying to understand the app! Thank you!
