Lookalike Audiences
I know that, in the past, lookalike audiences were a thing for FB ads. Is that still a thing? Is there a way to hone in a bit to people like those on your newsletter list? Asking because right now my FB page the ads are associated with is a ghost town. I'm wondering if there are things I could do to help where this is a brand new name and a brand new page.

@Jill Cooper Is an older FB page bad? Mine's been around since 2018 and ran ads before (on and off for a few years, it's been less than six months since I tried some), will this hurt me somehow?

Hi all! I'm Liz Hawkins, I've been an indie author since 2016 but took a five-year hiatus from 2020 til now (relaunching my pen name in January). Used FB ads quite successfully a year or two back but the algo change has tanked everything and with the hiatus, I don't have a ton of money to 'waste', so hoping to learn the new wisdom to give me a better shot at making money with them. Currently my main pen name is paranormal cozy mysteries. :)
