@Annelize Erasmus Oooo that’s so cool! I’ve ran a couple different Roland’s in the past, a 16’ roll to roll HP UV printer, a few different 8 or 16’ hp scitex solvent printers, a 8’ sublimation scitex, a few 8’ roll to roll hp latex printers, most recently though a Hp r2000 96” latex flatbed. They were all interesting in their own way, but none of it mine lol. Currently the only “production” I have it a 24” Silhouette cutter and a heat press hah

@Annelize Erasmus I didn’t use it a whole ton before leaving the job, but it was pretty quick to print, but you still obviously have to wait for it to finish going through curing, nice having white that you can easily disable and it maintains it for you though.

My mini-Ebook cover

Yo guys ! Just made a mini-Ebook cover with different illustrations, which one do prefer ? And what do you suggest me to wake the designer in me lol ?

I notice a lot of the really good ebook covers I see have some sort of separation in them, oven if something as simple as a border around the title, or a gradient change in color towards the image. I do agree the 1st looks a bit better because it has a little more of a “separation” feel with the larger graphic to it. The second one with the X to check looks like it would be more used as a image within the book.

AI is an amazing tool, but it needs the human element still (the designer) to tweak and make sure the human feeling remains.. so AI will empower but not replace
