Win - Finally sent a project!
I've been working on this for a few sessions now and decided to just jump past the crux. Shoutout to my brother @Adam Vert for working on it with me and sharing the stoke! This one felt good. p.s. I downloaded this app vimeo for free to upload this here, a bit annoying to setup but it lets us share videos which is cool!

Great vid! I like the idea of planning even the starting holds. I find I look for the big moves and try to plan that out but then when I get to the start I’m all over the place with my feet.
Ed Struble intro post
Hi everyone, super excited to see this community kick off 1. I’m based in the Atlanta Georgia area. My home gym is Adrenaline Climbing in Suwanee. I also get outside bouldering a lot at Boat Rock and Stone Fort, Horspens 40 and The Citadel. I also sport climb at Curahee in North Georgia and Sandrock (Cherokee Rock Village) in Alabama. 2. I’d like to learn from the entire community, through good conversation and collaboration. 3. My goal for this year is to do a 5.12 outside sport climb, and a multi pitch trad climb (I have some experienced partners who are taking me along to follow my first climb) 4. I love climbing because it’s always a different challenge. It takes both physical and mental skills to work through things. And , it’s just fun as hell!

Hey Ed, I’ll be in Atlanta for a few days in early May. I have a pretty packed schedule but was thinking of doing an early climb sesh at Central Rock Gym one day. Have you been and how was it?

@Ed Struble Awesome, thanks for the insight! I’m pretty restricted as I’m staying near Georgia tech without a car. Although I may venture to midtown at some point, maybe I’ll bring my climbing shoes with me haha
Hello!
Hi everyone 👋! Looking forward to learning how to be better climbers with all of you! 1. Currently climbing out of Kitchener in Canada (near Toronto). My main gym is Grand River Rocks but like to try and do some outdoor climbs a few times a year. 2. Been hovering around a v4/5 bouldering and 5.11- top rope grades for a while, hoping to learn something to get the that next level. 3. Be able to do v6s consistently. My gym has “blue tape” difficulty representing v5-v7, by the end of the year I want to be able to do at least 1 of the blue climbs every time they reset the boulders. 4. Climbing is perfect for me as a low-impact way to workout. I struggle with neck and back pain and I find climbing to be a good way to get active without making my pain much worse. Also, the ability to be able to challenge yourself and work through different climbs is supppper satisfying. Looking forward to learning and engaging with everyone!! 😊
