There is a moment many writers arrive at where the words stop, and the assumption is that something is wrong. I don't believe in writer's "block" and prefer to assign it to Divine Timing. For whatever reason, the story hasn't finished writing itself. Perhaps there's a piece of the puzzle that hasn't appeared yet. Maybe it's a discovery on a walk, an encounter during an event, or it is shown to you through a dream. What I’ve come to understand is that these moments of pause are not a failure of writing, but a signal. Writing does not begin with effort. It begins with coherence. When the nervous system settles, and you focus your attention on something that calms you or brings you peace, that is when language begins to organize itself. The words come, and our stories are written, rewritten, and remembered in the most elegant of circumstances. This is the foundation of the work we do here.
