I’m encouraging artists to actively engage in conversations around digital media and emerging technologies. As digital media and new technologies continue to shape culture, creativity, identity and society, artists shouldn’t wait until the systems are fully established before getting involved. We should be part of the conversation early—questioning, experimenting and contributing to the ethical frameworks that will guide how these technologies are developed and used.
