Before we come down to radical changes like installation of a solar setup ( which can run into couple pennies at least) , there's a lot of simple things that can save us $ and we don't even think about it. Just like switching insurance provider premiums can be huge, switching from regular lights to LED's can save energy, motion detection switches and timers that will turn those lighs out automatically that our kids always like to keep on.
