My new Coaching Retreat!
Hello everyone! I wanted to share with you my new project as a coach! I have created a retreat to discover your essence, called "The Enchanted Journey". I used all Ed's teachings in order to put together something I truly LOVE and want to share with others. I would love to hear what you guys think! :) Thank you so much in advance! https://www.canva.com/design/DAGJ7TgCR0o/jt57tvStLK5-5Hzee-Whfg/view?utm_content=DAGJ7TgCR0o&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link&utm_source=editor

@Dani Griff I Know! That's why I'm trying to be as accessible as possible. Most of the 5-10 day retreats I find are over $5k per person, and they usually are just a single place with the activities inside, but not an actual traveling experience through a cultural place. They are more about the experience in a single spot. So I wanted to make mine very unique and affordable for many. I already have 4 people booking and only have space for 15 total, so I believe I will sell out quickly 🤞
OMG!
😱 I submitted it! Wish me luck 🤞

The Importance of Profitable Services - Finding the Right Balance
The idea for this post came from @Carla Cid de Diego earlier one. Thank you for bringing up this important conversation. "Those who pay, pay attention"...thus quote is credited to Russell Brunson As service providers, we often feel a strong desire to give back and support those in need through pro bono work. However, it's crucial to strike a balance between charitable offerings and maintaining a viable, profitable business. If we continue to offer our services exclusively for free, we risk turning our passion into an unsustainable and costly hobby. While pro bono work can be immensely rewarding, it's essential to establish clear criteria for when and how we provide these services. By defining specific guidelines, we can ensure that our pro bono efforts are targeted and impactful, while still allowing us to generate a decent income from paid services. One approach could be to offer occasional promotions, such as discounted rates or limited-time offers, to make our services more accessible to a broader range of clients. However, it's important to remember that our services hold value, and we shouldn't undermine our own profitability in the long run. Another strategy could be to develop a tiered service model, with varying levels of support and resources at different price points. For instance, a low-cost option could be a newsletter or basic course, while a mid-tier offering might include a comprehensive course with limited support. At the high end, we could offer a comprehensive package with multiple courses and extended support. By implementing a balanced approach, we not only ensure our ability to continue providing valuable services to those who need them most, but we also safeguard the long-term sustainability of our business. Maintaining a profitable operation allows us to invest in our growth, enhance our offerings, and ultimately better serve our clients and communities. Let's have an open discussion about finding the right balance between pro bono work and paid services. Share your thoughts, experiences, and strategies – together, we can create a thriving and impactful service-based business while making a positive difference in the world.

Thank you for sharing this, @Tola Ayeni . I love this post, I think it's very important for all of us to support each other with ideas and experiences, so we can make sure that what we offer is fair and can be adaptable to as many people as possible, but that it's also fair for us. And if it seems too expensive for some or impossible for some others, that's ok too. We can't please everyone. I truly believe in the goodness of paying it forward, but if everyone just gives away their time and effort, they will only be able to do so for a short while. If we can come up with solutions that suit many people, we can continue to help, while we cover our needs as well. Even non-profit organizations have costs to pay and salaries to cover, so nobody really "works for free" all the time. They may volunteer their time and expertise every now and then, but costs need to be covered. We are not charities, we are professionals giving a service to people that need it. And we should be able to charge for our services the same way a store charges for the items they sell. Not because someone can't afford it means the store has to give the item away for free...

@Beatriz Rios I Agree with you 100%
In need of suggestions...
What do you do when on a closing call the person tells you that they are living off of government help and they don't have a job? I feel awful for them and don't really know how to later talk about my prices, since my fee is 3 times higher than their rent... What do you guys do in those moments? Any suggestions or advise will be greatly appreciated!
