One of the best sources of light is natural light coming through a window. When the light is shining gently onto your face, it creates a soft, flattering look that feels natural and professional. Here’s one simple rule I always share during our sessions: Never sit with the light behind you.That’s called backlighting — and it can make your face look dark or hard to see. Instead, simply turn and face the light .Let the light from the window fall gently onto your face. That’s where the magic happens. If you’d like to take beautiful pictures from home, start noticing your space. Look around your house and ask yourself: Where is a comfortable place to sit where light comes through the window?
