What is Your Unique Interest?
#Build a personal monopoly I recently have been going down the rabbit whole of Pride, looking in depth at the role our self image plays in it, the effects it has on our life, how it can blind us to reality and most importantly how to develop humility to overcome pride. Im curious to hear what kind of rabbit wholes everyone else has been going down!

I am confused - Daily Log struggle
For about 2 years now I have been writing quite consistently about many things. from sales scripts to YT videos. But I seem to struggle with the structure of the daily log. Noticed that even if it helps me a ton to do it I am not improving at that skills So, with that said my request right now is: can you give me some tips for how to do it? the 20% that will give me 80% of the improvement?

I think it really depends on what your trying to get out of it. If you're trying to develop a more positive mindset then you should write about: 1. What you were thankful for that day 2. Positive interactions with others & what you liked about them 3. Things you enjoyed doing, working on, and learning about. However, if your trying to improve yourself & fix bad habits you'll want to gear you reflections more towards events, & emotions that preceded bad actions to develop an awareness of the causes and effects in your life. The list goes on and on but as an individual it is important to determine your purpose in journaling and what information from the day you can extrapolate to serve that purpose.
The Laws of Human Nature
#15 Books Everyone Should Read Before They Die This book by Robert Greene provides an understanding of human nature by distilling philosophy, history, and psychology into a comprehensive framework that can be used to understand the deepest parts of your own psyche and that of others. I can not express how powerful this book is. Just for some context though, I read this book 6 months ago and have not stopped using it since, and am still finding endless applications for the wisdom it shares.

@Corey Bennett Boardman Awesome thanks for notifying me! I love the new approach to perception. I've been struggling with the reality that sh*t happens and life can get messy no matter hard you try and avoid it. Its this kind of mindset that I think is at the heart of the solution to this problem. Thanks for sharing!

Contradiction is the key to Balance
#Beware society's opinions In life we experience pain. We develop principles to live by which protect us from this pain. These principles may limit the ways in which we can approach life. They may be useful for a time and circumstance, but useless in another. In their effectiveness we may swing to an extreme, becoming blind to the ways it is hindering us. Considering contradictory principles may help us move towards a more balanced approach. Someone who is hasty must practice hesitance to move towards patience. Someone who is hesitant must practice haste to move towards patience.

@Allan R. I think the principle applies here as well. There is a balance between relying on assumptions to progress to more complex and reconsidering the fundamentals to break free from unnecessary structures. But you're right, it certainly is a tricky business.
