Hey Black Box team, I have a scenario I’d love your insights on. I was reaching out to a local print shop (Minuteman Press) about sponsoring a project I’m working on, and as I went to submit the form, I noticed their dropdown options included: - General Inquiry - Employment Opportunities - Franchise Sales That immediately got me thinking: What’s the right way to approach a business like this—where they’re already in the franchise space—without stepping on toes or coming off as shady? Like, let’s say I know someone in franchising, or I see an opportunity where we could potentially help them restructure, find better deals, or expand their reach—but I don’t know for sure if they already have a franchise consultant they’re working with. How would you recommend opening that conversation? - How do I probe without giving the ick, and still position Black Box as a valuable resource—even if they have someone in their corner already? - How do I bridge that gap and close the sale? Would love any language or best practices you all use when navigating these situations. Appreciate y’all! -DaniMarie
