@LeeAnn Misurella welcome Rihelle! I love everything you’re saying. It sounds like you have an intuition about the underlying nature of music. Drugs induce altered states of consciousness and so does music. I have told my students in the past that when we make music we actually become the music. Similar to when we drive our car we sort of “become” our car! Thanks for visiting and for sharing 🤘

How to improvise while jamming
This is a jam I recorded hoping to fall into a state of flow to demonstrate some key principles in improvising. I’m happy with how it turned out and would love to see more of us playing instead of only performing!

@Christopher Davis yes! It can become a performance of character, seeing the progression of the artist FIGURING OUT in the moment how the flow will go. I would love to get to a place where this is all so ingrained that I could mess up in the right spot every time ;) Until then… We play!!!
