I need some advice
What's the best video editing software for idiots? I have reasonable technical competence (or so I tell myself). I had a play with Adobe Premiere but it goes waaay beyond what I want to do. (Same we Photoshop is waaay beyond 99% of my uses). Is there like a Canva for video that's so simple and intuitive even a 💩- for -🧠 like me can use it?

@Christian Liebl I second Descript. It does get a little overly complicated with settings/options
Humble Beginning
I grew up in poverty where $100 a month felt like a jackpot. Now I earn over $10,000 a month, yet I struggle with impulsive spending and the mindset shift from survival to structure. I want to build a secure future for my family, but discipline is hard. If you’ve been through this going from nothing to more than enough how did you adjust your mindset and spending habits? Any advice or resources would mean a lot.

I HEAR YOU! When we've dialed in the income part, sometimes the spending matches it like a goldfish growing to the size of it's bowl! I'm a certified financial therapist and I actually specialize in helping impulse spenders heal their relationship with money from the inside out. If you'd like to know more: Homepage I've got a membership, a podcast, and individual work. But just know that you're so not alone, and sharing here is a big step towards healing!
So how was FINCON for you?
For me, not so great as I couldn't make it 😒 For those fortunate enough to have spent a few days in Portland: 👉 what were your biggest takeaways? 👉 any big wins you'd like to share? (Collabs, breakthroughs etc.)

I had big fomo not making it this year! Did anyone go to Haley and Justin's talk about community? (Price of Avocado Toast couple). Hoping to catch replays since I did buy one of those first cheap tickets :)
START HERE: WELCOME MOGULS!
Maker → Builder → Mogul Money Media Moguls is the group for creators in all areas of personal finance. The mission is to equip personal‑finance creators to own and grow their revenue stack—audience, products, and memberships—so they’re not dependent on algorithms or wholly reliant on brand deals for revenue (although we can certainly talk about those too). [Important: if what you earn is not important to you, you can substitute the word “impact” for “revenue”] Who are you? Maker: You ship content consistently. Builder: You have a clear product and a way to sell it. Mogul: You run a durable engine. Please say "hello"! Tell us a bit about yourself and what you do. Are you a Maker, a Builder or a Mogul? Please share what's motivating YOU to grow your audience. What's your current BIGGEST audience?

@Kathy Cuevas a mix of collaborations with adjacent professionals, like co-hosted webinars where we shared the sign up list, and paid ads towards my freebie.
An emotions first approach to money
Hi everyone! I'm Rachel Duncan, Certified Financial therapist and art therapist based in Denver Colorado! I am the founder of the Money Healing healing Club, an online membership for impulse spenders and money avoiders to take the first tiny steps towards healing their relationships with money. I talk a lot more about feelings and intuition and art making than I do about numbers. And my clients find this is a different path to getting better with money that really lasts. I also have a podcast, also called the money healing Club, I've pulled away substantially from social media and rely mostly on my email list. I'm here to find referral partners and sources of collaboration! Looking forward to getting to know everyone. https://www.moneyhealingclub.com/
