What resonated most with me in Ruth’s story was her unwavering faith in God. She willingly chose to follow Naomi despite having no safety net like a husband, father, or children to fall back on. Her story was a reminder for me to have more BLIND faith in God.To rely on him not just during moments of struggle or on Sundays at church like I used to, but throughout the small everyday parts of life where I once took him for granted. Like the speaker said, to depend on God like a Father because he is a crutch to always lean on; A helping hand who watches over us in the good and lifts us up in the bad. Loved the point made by Caleb: "A relationship with God is not a byproduct of a Good life, a good life is a byproduct of a relationship with God. He MUST come first." This was my first time truly learning about the Book of Ruth, and I was amazed by the depth of her loyalty. She had no backup plan, just pure faith and commitment. Full send or no send and moving forward i’m choosing to full send with God.
