@Kāʻili Wells Jr. mahalo! You are too kind! Jingle Bell Rock was arranged by ukulele artist @jiggywithviggy. As for high and low G, I play both equally depending on my mood. I probably have a preference for high G, as it best suits clawhammer technique on the uke; my favorite style to play.

@Kāʻili Wells Jr. @jiggywithviggy got her start on tic tock during the pandemic, and now has a large following both there and on instagram. You’ll also find her playing and teaching at quite a few ukulele festivals in the states. 👍🏻
Lacie's Auld Lang Syne Video
In case anyone has any doubts, @Lacie Forde can play! Here's the video of her playing Auld Lang Syne. This was the first user video ever posted, but it was in the comments of a post I did and so hard for me to find! @Lacie Forde let me know if this is too much, I'll take it down, no problem at all. I'm just SO PROUD of you for stepping up and out of your comfort zone to post this. You did so good and I can't wait to work with you!

@Lacie Forde Beautiful playing and singing! 👍🏻
Do this and you WILL improve!
Here's an exercise I FORGOT about from my college guitar days, applied to ʻukulele. Thanks to @Jake Galambos for reminding me! For all my private lesson peeps, please take a look at this and USE it! It literally helps everything with your fretting hand. @Mark Lawrence @Miri L @Joelle Gomez @Rutendo Mazengura @Adam Knight @Dawn Alvan @Lacie Forde @Teddie Vee

This is a very helpful exercise! I need to spend more time on fretting hand drills.
Welcome Jodie! From “same stuff” to “fresh setlist”
Aloha mai @Jodie Kelley 🤙 glad you joined! Retired respiratory therapist + ‘ukulele player of 12 years is a VERY good combo in here 😄 And yeah — getting out of the “same stuff” loop is a real thing. Start here first: pinned Start Here post → intro comment → Crash Course link inside. Actually, what style and/or genres do you already play?

Thanks! Happy to be here! I actually play a few styles. Clawhammer is my specialty, but also enjoy classical finger style, as well as Tin Pan Alley. I’ve owned and played every scale uke, but soprano is my jam!
