Introducing the first paid community on Skool — "$1 Club". Its purpose: To demonstrate the paid community experience. For $1 /month you'll get to: 1. See what it's like to subscribe to a paid community (as a member) 2. See what it's like to sell a paid community (as an admin) 3. Be first in line to use the payments system (for your own community) Click here to join $1 Club. We don't expect you to pay $1 /month ongoing. You can cancel your subscription at any time with 1-click. We're doing this as a live demonstration of our payments system. See you on the other side!
Now you can set access permissions for your events, just like courses. You can make events accessible to members at a level, or members with a course. You can set a cover image to personalize your events, and specify the link/address separate from the description so it shows/hides depending on the member's access. We renamed the "Calendar" tab to "Events" because it's the events that are important, and this new UI emphasizes the events instead of empty white space. We added a cool "LIVE" indicator too! Watch this video to see how this new feature works, and let us know what you think?
This is amazing. I can see how this drives engagement a lot more. It's more visual and fun. It also aligns much much more with where the future of coaching and consulting. Can't wait to implement this. Smart little yet powerful and engaging feature. THANKS @Sam Ovens and team.
Want a simple landing page that explains what your group is about and why people should join? Now you have one! See an example here. You can promote your group by adding videos, images, and a description. You can specify if your group is free or paid. (less confusion when non-customers request access thinking it's free). For private groups: Non-members will see this page when they visit any of your group's links. For public groups: Non-members will see this page on the "About" tab. Once somebody is a member of a group, they'll see this page under the "About" tab. If you're an admin of a group, go to the "About" tab to customize your landing page. Try it for yourself and let us know what you think? 🎉
Hi, guys here is a video of me testing a third-party solution for membership, running a Zapier connection to trigger the invite. Comes with a bunch of other features including the ability to take payment. Some of which Skool is developing (update: Skool now has a payment system in place for subscription only). Like the post, if it was helpful, and comment below to discuss. If you want to use Outseta feel free to use my affiliate link or not, it's pretty cheap at only $33 a month with 1000 contacts - https://bit.ly/3AkIWwu
