I've been sorting out a lot of notes and resources in these days... I'm curious to ask if you have any suggestions for using an effective method (no software), I see that some people talk about the PARA method or the CODE method. Personaly I've been sorting everything by subject, but this method is highly ineffective & inefficient when you have lot of data
I have always been fascinated by Maria Popova’s work. Often, her work is vast and extensive, proving difficult to synthesise all of her key points. Luckily, Kyle Kowalski from Sloww.co has created an amazing synthesis into 3 top lessons. Here is the article to find out more: https://www.sloww.co/brain-pickings-maria-popova/
So yesterday, I straight upshot all day and grinded in the night to edit my new vid in one go. I completed it at 2 in the morning. Though my body was giving up after 5 hours of straight editing, the premiere of my youtube video was very refreshing. I tried to incorporate the video-making tips I received last time and hope it's somewhat better now. Do give it a watch and I will be right here waiting for your input. 😁
Hey Guys! Andrew and I are currently trying to create a Roadmap for this group. A brief and tangible outline of what we are all trying to achieve here. I have the first few steps that I think we can all agree on... 1) Create your first piece of content 2) Make your first $1 3) Create consistently 4) ?? I need your help ?? I would LOVE your input on what you think the final step should be? Do you want to quit your job? Have the option to quit? Do you want $10,000/month? or another goal? Please take some time to think what do you REALLY want from this group? It doesn't have to look the same for everyone. Comment down below your specific end goal... Thank you so much in advance!
@Dan Marino Thanks Dan! Great insight into the power of community. I love the idea of the different sections helping each other based on their strengths. I think there could be infinite of value in that.
#Synthesizing Intro Hello strangers! I am a 40 something y.o. going through major life changes such as divorce, moving country and changing job... all at ounce! Yeah! The kind of content I enjoy the most is definitely stuff that widens my perspective and deepens my understanding of myself and existence. I am a philosopher, critical thinker, somewhat "spiritual" existentialist I would say ;-) If these all make sense together! The problem I am currently working on is fear. I feel a lot of fear about the future, about failure, and it is stopping me from living. I feel I have been compulsively surviving for the first half of my life and I am not happy with where it's taken me, so I want to try something drastically different for the 2nd half, thus all of the changes!
Great to see you here Guylaine! I loved your application and just like Corey stated you show so much resilience. Often the hardest decisions we make in life are the hardest but we will learn the most from them, sending you love and good thoughts:)
