Hey everyone! Thank you so much for having me in the group, and I'm super excited to have those calls with you soon to get everything aligned! While I wait for that, I have a question for the community here because I'm getting conflicting advice from pros at my local shop and want to hear what works best in the real world. I’m finalizing my gear setup before starting the IDC. I really prefer using a wrist-mounted dive computer, but a few instructors told me I should switch to a traditional console attached to my SPG once I start teaching. Their argument was that a console is way easier to grab and show to students when you're trying to teach them how to monitor their depth and air during skills. For those of you already teaching, what’s your preference? Do you find that a wrist computer gets in the way or is harder for students to see under water, or should I just stick with what I'm comfortable using? Thanks for sharing!
