Let’s talk DMs… If you’re sliding into inboxes with a cold pitch right away, let me save you some time... You’re not going to close. You’re going to repel. I’ve been getting hit with these nonstop: - “Hey, wanna book a call?” - “Here’s my offer!” - “Are you open to making money online?” No intro. No question. No idea who I am or what I do. That’s not sales, that’s spam. Truth is, sales is still human. Even in the DMs. People buy from people they trust. Not desperate strangers trying to hit quota. Here’s how to flip the script: ✅ Ask a real question ✅ Comment on their content ✅ Show curiosity ✅ Give value before you ask for anything That doesn’t mean send a freebie. Value could be as simple as a compliment, a helpful insight, or showing them you're actually paying attention. It’s called status alignment, meeting someone where they are. You’re not “attacking from below” like a spam bot. You’re building connection from eye level. The slow play is the fast win. If you want to stop getting ghosted, stop acting like a transaction.
