Ugly action beats unfinished perfection every time
As we reflect on 2025 and set actionable goals and milestones for 2026 may we be people of action even if it’s less than ideal or imperfect. P.S. you don’t have to wait until midnight to get started 😉

Love this! So true! Every action counts, no matter what!
We've been lied to.
Knowledge is not power. Knowledge is only potential power. Knowledge that is not put into practice is useless. Knowledge that is acted upon is powerful. I've spent far too much time acquiring knowledge and far too little putting it into practice. This has cost me greatly. Other than time (which is precious) learning is low/no risk. Maybe that's why I enjoy it so much. It isn't until I take steps/begin practicing what I've learned that I will potentially encounter failure. Potential failure scares me. Maybe it's my primordial brain trying to keep me safe but is actually sabotaging my progress or maybe I've had bad experiences with failures as I child that have created crippling insecurities. I don't know. I do know that at 40 I've learned more than I could possibly apply in a lifetime and it's time to stop studying and start putting into practice what I've learned. Ironically I know I will end up learning a lot along the way only wishing I had gotten started sooner.

It’s interesting how I was thinking the same thing this morning. I’m surrounded by so much talent and so many valuable connections filled with knowledge that can help propel my career in my life in the direction I wanted to go and that I’m not tapping into. I seem to have thought that now that I’ve reached 50 I’ve reached my ceiling when in fact, I haven’t the truth is all these years have been building and building and building and now I can catapult myself to the next level, using all the knowledge and resources I have around Me. 😃

I want to say a big welcome to @Aldania Harvey! We're just getting started and it's rather quiet now (to be expected with business owners) my hope is this place is becoming a hub where Young Entrepreneurs and Mentors can focus on accountability and action. @Gabriel Costa @Ethan Prendergast @Cash Gibson @Bradley Santiago @Stacey Ansley @Audrey Febres @Philip James @Caleb Moniz Please say hello!

Thank you for the warm welcome! 😃
Would you leave wealth management to go into education?
I had seven offers on the table one was to join a team of Financial Advisors who were making over $100,000 a MONTH, another was to leave that world behind and teach the next generation value creation and financial stewardship. On paper the choice was clear, I should totally go join the very successful wealth group. But God. It started out subtle but quickly became clear that God was calling me to SCHOOL?! What on earth?! Looking back on these last 3 years. It hasn’t been easy, it certainly hasn’t been lucrative but it has been one of the best decisions of my life. What’s the lesson? You can make entire life making purely financially based decisions or you can make faith based decisions. I reached a point where I died to money and was raised to new life in Christ and He is the basis for my decisions. Entrepreneurship isn’t solely about money, although that is a very nice benefit. It’s about following a call to something higher, something way riskier, something way more meaningful. You were created by Our Creator to create! How are you called to create?

I always see my son tinkering in his room, making things, creating a toy he calls BIO-BEASTS, and I love that he is doing that! He is passionate about dragons, and dinosaurs, and beasts, and action figures, and lately, we've been talking about becoming a toy-maker!! He's learning that this hobby of his, may actually yield a career, and within that career, a possible way to reach the masses, and spread Gods word. I'm so excited to see how it unfolds!
Do you really suck?
I’m all for reading more personal development and growth books. All for learning new skills. But at the end of the day my environment impacts SOO MUCH of my outlook and actions. Are you really that bad or have you just been in the wrong environment?
