🧹 What’s the One Shop Habit You’re Trying to Break? (Win $100 Gift Card!)
Every woodworker has that one habit in the shop that’s tough to shake. Maybe you skip dust collection, leave tools out a little too long, or put off sharpening until it’s absolutely necessary. What’s the habit you’re trying to break (or have already kicked)? Share it in the comments! No judgment here, just honest shop talk from folks who get it! 🏆 Prize: $100 Sawinery Gift Card (for treating yourself after breaking that habit 💪) 📅 Winner announced on November 17! 📍 Open to U.S. customers only (for now). We’re working on making them available in more locations soon!

Mine is just to be better at doing maintenance. I say this as this past weekend trying to forcefully push lumber thru the planer and thinking when is the last time i waxed the bed or changed the knives. My habit is i will do it next time I am in the shop and months later still haven’t done it.
🔧 What’s the Cheapest Tool You Own That You Actually Love? (Win $100 Gift Card!)
Not every great tool comes with a big price tag, and sometimes it’s the small, inexpensive ones that make your workflow smoother and your projects better. Maybe you’ve got a budget gem in your shop that’s proven itself again and again. Share the cheapest tool in your shop that you couldn’t live without. Tell us what it is and why it’s earned a permanent spot on your bench! 🏆 Prize: $100 Sawinery Gift Card (a great excuse to grab another shop essential 😄) 📅 Winner announced on November 10!

Mine is my insulated hearing protection. I think it was an end cap clearance at harbor freight and always easy to find and put on and at the end of the day, safety first. My eye protection glasses is tied or close second.
📐What's Your Largest Project Yet? (Win $100 Gift Card!)
Every woodworker has that one project that really pushed the limits — maybe it was the biggest piece you’ve ever tackled, the heaviest to move, or the one that took up every inch of your shop space. Tell us about the largest project you’ve made in the comments! 🛠️ Prize: $100 Sawinery Gift Card (aka more tool money without the guilt 😉) 📅 Winner announced on September 12!

Mine was building nearly a 4 x 8 foot dining table, 2” thick. The beast was nearly 250 pounds and really made me think about shop layout for future projects to ensure i can get people in there to help me lift it every time. But also just being to apply finish was difficult to get a consistent look with no bubbles or defects that needed to be fixed.

Some call me a perfectionist, I prefer bringing my heat & soul to each every piece to ensure it's the finest quality product when I am done.
