I Pulled The Trigger....
I just launched my MAJOR overhaul of my Skool 🎉. I transitioned it over to a points and levels driven flow to unlock lesson content. I am so excited for this because I think it will really help guide users through a better learning journey than just landing them in a classroom with all the modules available from day 1. I also announced my pricing tier changes starting June 15th...to give current free members an opportunity to upgrade to Premium before the switch. I know I say this all the time, but I truly am so grateful for this community and for all that I've learned here.

@Christine Ross thank you so much … 🤞 I start seeing more engagement in my community.

Your Sales Email Ecosystem
Most people think they need MORE tools to grow a community. You probably need a better ecosystem instead. Your email list + Skool community should work together: ✔️ Capture leads ✔️ Nurture relationships ✔️ Segment audiences ✔️ Drive people back into your community ✔️ Convert members into buyers The magic isn’t in blasting more emails. It's in creating intentional pathways between your content, email, workshops, and community. Simple systems scale better than complicated ones.

I definitely need to spend more time on figuring out my email marketing. I am really only using my Skool email a couple of times a week, trying to be thoughtful in how I use it. Maybe once I start doing workshops I’ll have more reason to send out other emails.
NOW READY TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP
So, I started my Skool community in February, teaching the nuances of writing about food. I decided to do that because of my good credentials - multi award winning an' all that. But ... just this last week I had a brain flash: I co-wrote a book for women how how to deal with divorce, from the initial shock to going through all the levels. And that's going to be my new Skool community. So blah-blah. It's 3.20 am here in Northern Ireland, and before turning out my bedside light, I decided to check my emails. And there was one from @Brenda Rigney, about her latest win: $1400 in. 24 hours! And that, dear friends, is the reason I find myself here in this community, ready to learn!

@Gwynne Conlyn It's growing, and I have a small group of really engaged members, but with my recent relaunch using level unlocks to open content, I'm hoping there will be even more engagement. I really love what Brenda highlights in her trainings here... that Skool is such an amazing opportunity to create Communities...as places where people can come together and connect over topics that they have in common...it's not just another social media platform...that you just come to to consume info and leave.
💰 Would you give away 50% of every sale?
I do. In this video, I share why I offer 50% affiliate commissions, how it helped grow my communities to 12,000+ members, and why referrals often outperform paid ads. If you're building a Skool community, this strategy might change how you think about growth. Side note: I know some of you are thinking, "Well, once I start making money, I'll do 50%. But for now, I'll 10-20%." 🎥 Watch this YouTube video and let me know your thoughts.

I had mine set for 40% but only because it's what was the recommended setting in Skool. But after watching this, I'm upping it to 50%.
