Which emoji's describe your life this week? No explanation allowed.
Its Friday... or Thursday for some people The end of a super cool week Eclipses, new month, new quarter, and a new beginning This week has been crazy for me. My first youtube video hit 1,500 views, we have a lot of new cool members and I launched the beta V4 (1 spot left) And also I am ideating a new Classroom module called "The Chest" That will have tons of language learning resources ALSO A new visual plan for accountability companions YAYY (Almost ready) ๐ƒ๐š๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐จ๐ญ๐ž (In different languages now!!!) ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ"The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you." B.B. I have heard this sooo much! The best investment is in yourself! And I love this quote ALOT ๐ƒ๐š๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐•๐š๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ž I think a very important aspect of language learning is the aspect of META learning This is learning how to learn and understanding neuroscience 1 big aspect is the generation effect and Elaboration I will go deeper on this and other meta learning skills on our weekly call next tuesday But in short it is where you want to create sentences with words that you know and elaborate example: You ate studying Spanish and you are practicing with your notebook on sentence weaving Instead of just writing down sentences you can elaborate and generate different words in the sentence instead of writing I want to eat, You can write I want to eat potatoes tommorow with my friend And if you don't know the words you can first just think and generate something random and then actually find the translation Your brain hates open loops, so just close them with a translation after you guessed If you have any questions regarding this then you can DM me My DM's are open and I cleared them so I will try and answer as quick as possible

Introduce yourself to the community with a post :) @Gabriel Lafond is from Quebec and he is wanting to learn English! Wonderful man!! There are lots of other cool language learners here that are also trying to acquire English. Introduce yourself! @Eugene Globe III is just some dude learning Spanish ๐Ÿ˜ ๐ƒ๐š๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐จ๐ญ๐ž: The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires. โ€” William Arthur Ward I honestly think this is a VERY powerful quote especially for teachers and for students finding the right teachers. ๐ƒ๐š๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐•๐š๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ž: The most important thing when learning a language in the beginning is Exposure and immersion BUT if you don't have a notebook or a doc in which you can write that word or sentence down then it will leave ALSO there was a study done where they looked at memory and language acquisition and found out that languages learned without context get forgotten after hours SO learn words in phrases with context :) Exposure is HUGE! Immerse yourself in the language as much as possible and then connect that to a notebook and some form of instant output Wishing you all the best ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿปโค๏ธ Please share your takeaways and some little thoughts that you have.

I use new words to create a story about myself or my surroundings, and I include my favorite people and things to make it easier to remember. Sometimes I use AI to help me; this really makes it easier to remember.๐Ÿค๐ŸŽ€

The absence of errors often indicates the absence of progress." โ€” Neil Gaiman The best way to learn a language and grow IS TO make mistakes You made thousands of mistakes before speaking your real language ๐ƒ๐š๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐•๐š๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ž ๐ง๐ฎ๐ ๐ ๐ž๐ญ: Comprehensible Input = Gold!!!
